    I just installed the new beta 1.6.9.1386 and now when I start ATT I get the error "Can not initialize ATIPDLXX library! Exiting now..." the previous version (1.6.9.1382) was working ok. I have cat's 9.4 installed on XP X64 SP2 on a Sapphire 4850. I have checked my system32 folder and have confirmed that this library is there.

    Oh ok.

    IMO once you've sorted out the critical bugs maybe supporting this 3rd method would be nice?

    But for the moment i'll setup my steps to be this:

    0, 20%
    50, 30%
    52, 33%
    54, 36%
    56, 39%

    60, 45%
    62, 48%

    Normal behavior. Do not worry about it :) GPU and MEM has its own steps and not all are integers

    This is bug of Catalyst 9.4./ Download this .dll and it to the ATT's main folder.

    Thanks Ray. Putting that AtiPdlxx.dll into the ATT folder fixed the problem.

    the 100% cpu usage period just after ATT starts is still happening
    (i still assume it's caused by some missing ico/binary for game/application profiles)

    Is it possible to write a plugin which controls the fan speed ?

    Aesthetics Question :-/

    Would you mind to change the voltage limits for 3870? ATT shows values up to 1.300V while default for Sapphire dual slot is 1.327V

    I had to add my own bios default manually and it gets declared "unsafe" by ATT which could irritate the noobs.

    EDIT: Happy Easter Mr Adams! (i always forget the ceremonial dates)

    if ATT shows 1.300 that means - this is your limit. ATT ask driver for this table. And driver make this table from BIOS settings.

    Hi Ray, thank a lot for your great job on ATT

    - Last week, I changed my sapphire HD3850 to a sapphire HD4830
    - last version 1.6.9.1386

    > No problem :
    GPU/MEM adjustement is 100% OK
    voltage adjustement is 100% OK
    Fan, is 70% ok but I put a VF700 and it's good

    _________________________________________________

    but today, I have a MSI HD4830 :

    [IMG]

    frequency adjustment is impossible (GPU or MEM)
    and voltage adjustment is impossible too
    and cannot control fan

    it work only at 585/900/1.25v :confused:

    here the infos :

    Code:
    Display adapter ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x944C)

    There are no way to change Voltage. You have fixed 1,250.
    As for about overclocking. I didn't test this board yet so I have no idea.
    Do you have last beta version?

    do you think overclocking is only possible with the CCC on this MSI HD4830 ? :puke2:<--- CCC

    I never use CCC at this time ...

    I have exactly the same problem. ATT is the newest beta (1.6.9.1386) on a fresh Win7 beta install (started with disabled driver signature check - I pressed F8 at start). My graphics card is a Radeon 4870 1024MB with Cat 9.4. As soon as I hit the "Apply" button, the memory clock frequency doubles. As far as I can tell, the originally intended clock is applied at this moment but when I want to save the profile the double clock is saved and when I load and apply this profile my computer crashes (it doesn't matter if I check or uncheck the "Show as DDR" box).

    Under a parallel WinXP installation with an older version of ATT (1.6.9.1368) and older drivers (Cat8.12) this problem doesn't show up.

    Have a look at this section from a profile stored with factory settings applied:

    <Feature name="CoreVoltageTarget_0">
    <Property name="Want_0" value="1241" />
    <Property name="Want_1" value="1327" />
    <Property name="Want_2" value="1327" />
    </Feature>

    The values have been same when i installed my card (Sapphire Dual Slot Silent) with original BIOS which unfortunately had the PLL divider bug.

    Unfortunately Sapphire never published a newer BIOS for this model so i grabbed another one from a Sapphire Toxic which had this bug fixed and changed some of its settings to fit my needs. The Toxic in deed runs with 1300 by default so following your explanation i now have a BIOS which pretends to run with 1327 but does not for real, right?

    EDIT: Could it be that this is the reason why overdrive does not work anymore since i flashed my card with this BIOS?

    Hi Ray,

    I am a chinese student~Recently I found ATT and I love it very much,it helps me a lot.But I have a problem today,maybe it's a bug,so I will try my best to express my problem.

    (I am poor in English)

    My ATT version is 1.6.9.1380beta,vista ultimate.ATI 3870 video card.

    I set 2 profiles:

    profile 1、2D 300GPU 500Mem 1.006Voltage
    profile 2、3D 775GPU 2250Mem 1.258Voltage (1.258 is also the Default Voltage value)

    My problem is that:the 2 profiles have the same values of Pixel Fillrate and Texture Fillrate in GPU-Z 0.3.2 when I change profile1 to profile2,and they are 4.8GPixel/s and 4.8G Texel/s.But the correct value of Pixel Fillrate and Texture Fillrate is:
    profile1 : 4.8GPixel/s 4.8G Texel/s
    profile2 : 12.3GPixel/s 12.3G Texel/s

    They are different.

    It is interesting that when I click the button "Set Default Clocks" in Overclocking pannel,the value of profile2 becomes 12.3GPixel/s and 12.3G Texel/s,correct value.

    I am not sure whether it is a bug or not,so please help me.Thanks~

    Man, do you play in GPU-Z? :) If your clocks applied correctly , why you bother about GPU-Z? :)

    It does have much negative effect on the game Need for Speed 12 when my video card runs at 4.8GPixel/s 4.8G Texel/s.
