That's 3 sets of Forceware drivers in 3 days for me...

185.42 are being best... it also has ambient oclusion which can be enabled in all the 8 series gpu!!!!
have any one noted this!! in everest under gpgpu tab the following option is marked supported!!

i got this only in xp so far but with this driver it is enabled in vista too!!

Installed fine on Windows 7 7022 x86 didn't have the mod the inf even though Nvidia's site said 9 series upwards, control panel working, physx working. I can confirm AO is in the control panel on Windows 7. TF2 working fine as far as the colour bugs reported. AO doesn't seem to work in TF2, and I don't have any other HL2 based games on here to try. EVGA Precision 1.6 working fine with these drivers as well.

Edit: Installed HL2 EP2 again, and can't see any difference with and without AO, maybe not fully supported in Windows 7 yet?

I think its sooner than that cause evga took the 295 off the stepup list with people still sitting in Queue.

Once again NVIDIA has dropped the ball on the 185.65 drivers...The last 3 That I have tried to install, didn't....and once again these didn't either. What's going on?

 

yea, it only happened in the 185.26 and I hoping these 185.65 do not cause the same error.

When I switched back to 182.47 the rainbow colors immediately were gone.

 

I'm confused with the Ambient Occlusion setting. Although I turned it on in the Global Settings tab, I saw no different in supported games on my machine (CoD4, Halflife 2 ep2, FEAR 2). More strangely, in the Program Settings tab, it says 'Not support...' for all programs in the list !

Anything else I must do to turn this on ?

I'm running Vista SP1, 9800gtx+.

you no the the Dual cards are always updated later over the single cards .. in drivers ..

this set is a dam fine release imop .. Releaseing two drivers at once Gives this away

Fixes downclocking issue with live messenger for me, when I launched it before it would ramp into 3D clocks.

Anybody fix the problem where control panel doesnt install (NvCplSetupInt) i even tried to install it after the drivers installs but says error.. Vista64 and 8800GT
