    I know I was just kidding, as I said I was :p

I'm not sure whether to try these new driver or not. I've been on 181.22's for a while now and everything works just fine and I'm not sure if I 'd see any benefit as my cards are becoming fairly old tech now..

I'll stick with what I've got for now and just maybe upgrade in the summer :)

You should try them, they should offer a nice performance boost over 181.22's. I have had zero problems so far with these drivers.

Btw: these drivers do still include PhysX (version 9.09.0203).

i cant believe that they still didnt freaking fix the CODE 43 error when installing the last few sets of of 180X.XX drivers on Geforce 6 and 7 series. I even tried this one after performing a cleaning with the Guru Driver Cleaner and still same issue. I think nVidia should remove driver support for 6 and 7 if they dont intend on fixing there bugs on the next release that is.

Summary: These driver dont work on GeForce 6 and 7 series - they install sucessfully, but on reboot CODE 43 shows up in Device Manager :bang:

    Solution: back to 178.24 driver

Give it 30 seconds then watch your frame rate climb back up.

    Ps.

Downclocking is working perfectly fine, even when overclocked but evga precision seems to be having problems reporting the clock rates in the osd (rivatuner's working perfectly though).
