    Hi folks,

I've git a 9800GTX+, which usually has a 2D clock of 300 Mhz Core and 600 Ram. In 3D it has 790 and 1200 Ram.

Since a few weeks I have now a second monitor working in Dualview mode.
I now have recognized, that my card is all the time in 3D Mode.

Is this a generel driver bug? Or is it the way the g92 chips work in dualview mode?

    any constructive help appreciated

Same happens with my 260 GTX so i'm not sure is it a feature or a bug.

Whenever more than one monitor or TV is used, it seems to live in 3D clocks.
It does the same when I hook my main TV upto it, I presume it needs the extra clocks (for some odd reason :p)

Well I doubt it needs the extra clocks for anything, sounds more like a bug to me? I pretty sure it will be fixed soon.

    That's what I think, too.
But how can it be, that they didn't find a bug like this for quite a few forceware versions ?!?

However: it should be fixed, at least: I hope so....

I've had this problem in every 18x.xx driver EXCEPT 182.05. Will try these (which should, in theory, be the same as 182.05 but with minor changes?) and report back...

It's not a problem or bug. It's a fact of life, and it's by design. If you have dual monitors hooked up, you will stay at 3d clocks.

That's for sure? I don't really know, why the "EXTRA CLOCKS" should be needed!

PS: That's why I started this thread in the first place, to find out if it's a bug or a fact!

Wrong. It's a bug and Nvidia is aware of the issue. So far there is no workaround though:
