Meh, indeed, cheating because your opponent does is not a legit reason... they cud've easily gotten glockateer banned tbh if they hadn't cheated themselves.

 

Was he actually hacking?, i thought they just assumed he was so they did it too.

Whats happend to them since that, i know they got banned from cevo but anything else?

 

Demos released, AC admins from CAL that I know say that he was perfectly fine.

 

League admins = teh fail, why did they become admins? Usually because they fail.

 

I fail quite a lot, can I become a league admin?

No, seriously though, CAL AC actually works.

We all know CEVO AC is a joke, but that doesn't mean that Glockateer cheated either. It's clear now that he didn't.

He doesn't track guys through walls, you didn't watch the demo, you're just bandwaggoning. And yes, CEVO AC is brokeded.

I did see the demo, twice, once with r_drawothermodels enabled and yes he tracks through walls

And don't talk about anticheats tbh, they're worthless. Sure they work against retards but the people that actually are a nuisance with cheats, the ones cheating their way into top leagues like CEVO P are not to be stopped by those crappy anti cheats.

The only way to be somewhat sure if someone cheats is to compare his LAN with his online performances on demos, etc. But then again, 95% of league admins lack the skills to see if someone is off or not, or it's not obvious enough, like glock, who tries to hide it and only starts his tracking through walls at the very last second.

If I'd organize a league with a kickass price or a huge price sum, the top 3 matches should HAVE to be played at lan.

Even at lan you're not entirely sure, last lan in Belgium we've got some people using a cheat that would actually alter the hitboxes so that the head hitbox is back to it's old size from way back in source, making headshots extremely easy. Therefore next lan and old teammate of mine is organizing the compo with a GIU and strict rules to kick out anyone not complying to the rules and taking advice from people like LLL (blaze, xertion, etc from fnatic) and regnam.

And glockateer is either obvious or he had lady fortuna on his side, I have to admit though, optx played bad and even with no cheating involved any proper clan cud've won the match like KBS did.

He's been playing since season 3 with KBS.

It's understandable that he accumulated a substantial amount of skill.

 

Zach isn't saying the CAL AC client is good (you're right it is only good for public cheats), hes saying the people who review demos are good.

 

Then who reviews them?

Well I can at least inform you that CAL|Alberswerth takes a **** on everyone who cheats in that league. A well organized cruel ****.
