Howz all the AGP users finding the 9.1z?, i got surprisingly great performance in FEAR 2 but i havent tried any other new games. Post back with your findings.
working awsome for me... very stable and fast, looks like ATI did something good for us the oldies... Mirrors Edge Working smoother, also Prince of Persia, combat arms... very happy with the 9.1 - it's a keeper.
Runs fine so far i didn´t noticed any overwhelming boosts compared to 8.12 but it´s a good and stable version with good FPS results.
For some reason, the 8.12 are still the only AGP ones listed for my new HD3650 DDR2 512meg. Anyone know why?
I will wait for the hot fix, with i used the 9.1 more of my games became unstable before only fallout 3, crysis, mass effect, sins of a solar empire, saints row 2, and battlefield 2142 crashed but now with 9.1 the list grew to battlefield 2, second life and shadowbane (100% of the games on my system. so i went back to 8.12 and got those 3 games back
Huge improvement in fear 2 demo on my sapphire 3850. no more stutter. all games playing nicely wow, farcry2 ,fallout 3
That sucks ,man.Looks like you may be having more problems than drivers if most of your games are crashing.I can't remember the last time I had a CTD or BSOD since I updated my PSU ,at least.
I modded the inf just to get the 9.1's installed on my Sapphire (no hotfix needed), but cant really see any difference between them and the hotfix 8.12's in Flight Sim 2004, FSX or Silent Hunter 4. It's not a deal-breaker or world-shaker. I'll try the Hotfix 9.1's if and when but I will probably just roll back to the 8.12's for now.

Catalyst 9.1 - nice drivers set, need to say. Played BF 2142, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Mass Effect - good performance, nice IQ. Keepers for my videocard!

Best driver/performance whith the system.... 2048x1536 ;-) and everything low...... but can perform very nice at 1280x1024 and high quality, not PhyX, not even the CPU........ But i´m still having a blast with Mirror´s Edge ! I hate motion BLUr.... <<---------- KILLL - i drink and i don't get that "blur" nNice HDR & shaders What´s like in Photoshopcs4????? They are a compatible card´s but i can´t get the "sence" if they can be acelareted on Photo´s in XP I "saw" the clip here
