    What's even more funny is that they always blame Vista when drivers fail...

    runs good those micro stutters every 5min or so are nothing really, i've seen allot worse, maybe it has to do something with vsync i had few spikes from 60 to 50 fps but only when it was loading a new part i think (not during those fast horror sequences).

    FEAR had the same problem. Simple way to fix it, (or at least minimise it) is to defrag your harddrive.

    It's just a bad demo..that's all - any sequence which involves loading information, whether its a Incoming Radio Signal, or some dudes around the corner that are coming your way, or mysterious ghosts, approximately 2 seconds prior to the characters engagement, there is a minor pause which last for 1-1.5 seconds. It's either a SAD port from Console, or just a lackadaisical demo. If the final release is like that, I'd never play it. It's just annoying more than anything else.

    The demo is an intense combination of pieces of several levels to give you a taste of the game. It will freeze for an instant while it reaches loading points due to it being a mix of several levels into one. The full game won't be like this.

    Even if this is true, it doesn't explain why some people aren't experiencing problems at all.

    Stuttering here too and also the game does not support Crossfire yet, as I have to disable one of my GPU's to get better performance as when using both I get around 40fps and when using one Im getting around 90fps LOL.

    Because these people possibly have kept thier HDD immaculate, with weekly defrags. Really. Try a defrag. I don't mean just hit the "defrag" button either. Clean the thing out. Delete as much as you can (to enable the most efficient defrag) then defrag. Install the game, then defrag again. Fixed FEAR 1 for me, so it should fix FEAR2 for you...

    @Inklimited.

    Defrag does not help, im one of those who defrag @daily basis, and I use the best defraggers(not win defrag) and I promise you this has nothing to do with defrag as I have the problem even with 2-3 defrags after install. And I have it on both my game machine and my HTPC. The other one with Nvidia 260 and the other with ATI 4850 xfire, this is a game bug nothing else.
