Well there's literally about 2mm spare between the back of the card and the chassis but still... :infinity:

If you didn't have any other internal cards fitted you could probably just about fit two dual-slot cards in, though that would be a bit overkill I think. At least until Crysis 2, anyway

that card would fit in your case, but you do need a upgrade for todays games.

That looks okay, dont cheap out on the PSU, 430w is really low. Look for something in the 600w at lease range.

    okay how about this...

mobo: BIOSTAR TForce TP43D2A7 (not bad could probably run quad core or duo) - $90 < Thats just a base price im not saying your should get that mobo

    processor: intel core 2 duo e8500 (oc's well?), or intel core 2 quad Q6600 (oc's well) - both ~ $190

HD: Western Digital Caviar SE WD2500AAJS - $48
    link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136113

    Ram: CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) - 10 bucks (20 for 4gb)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145177

    mouse - razer deathadder - $50
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153007

    keyboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175103 - $35

monitor and case... im not too good at deciding monitors but, thats like ~120 for monitor at most and maybe like 80 for the case at most... so... you could probably hit up a new gpu

with all the components I listed it comes to about $433, so thats pretty far under you budget. If it were me, id pop a gtx 260 in there or if thats too much something like a 9800gt or 9800gtx ( no need for +)

Btw Your gonna need at least 530w psu, id reccomend 600+ just to be safe.

He doesn't plan on upgrading and the 4670 will probably run on any name brand 300watt PSU. It doesn't require much power sub 75watts, neither does the E8X00 series at 65watts.

He wont have much head room with a 430w PSU. Which is why I suggested to go for something bigger. 300w wont get him anywhere lol. PSU isnt something to cheap out on, ask any guru. :)

At least the 4670 doesn't need a pci-express plug, so it will likely work with a 430W PSU, although obviously it would be better to get at least a solid 500W unit.

ok the PCI-E x16 slot only gives out what like 100W max? so 300w would be ok.

Extra thick plate between I/O and PCI slot won't let me fit in dual slot...
I could easily rip plate out but large CPU heatsink will get in the way for graphic card fan
(which I decided to get new computer)

I had my eye on 2GB ram for $10 but looks like I can't use rebate twice for same product line
(damn you fine prints!!! wouldn't have checked without one of buyer's feedback)

    Also,
anyone know if Saitek Eclipse Keyboard have anti-ghost feature? I play BM98 and I have lil frustration that I can't press zxcd (or some random 4-7 button press) at once

I never said to cheap out on the PSU. I'm a big advocate of getting the better PSU. Even mine is overkill for what i'm running. :D

A 4670 runs entirely off of the PCIE slot, so it draws a maximum of 75watts irc. If you were do all the math, he would still have plenty of head room on the Antec 430.

I know you referenced the HIS website. Most if not all video card manufactures will recommend a higher wattage powersupply then what is need. Just in case you get a cheapy, the video card will still work.

If you read the guru3d review on the 4670 it will mistakenly say that a 400watt psu will power a 4800 series. It even looks like a direct copy/paste from a 4800 series review. :p

I only really looked at the budget build.... but its TERRIBLE advice!!!

who the hell would buy an 8600 nowadays? no one on these forums! I'm helping a buddy on a super tight budget and we just got him a nice Zotac 9800GT 512 (factory overclock). It performs great and was only 92$ after the mail in rebate.

So, you can't press "zxca, zxcs, or zxcd" at once? Hmm.... Now I want to invest more budget on G11. Any positive/negative advice to it?

Where did you find this? I was looking at a 9600gt for around $100. A 9800gt for $100 would be awesome.
