Looking at getting GTX 260 this week, just seems so many to pick from atm with the new 55nm one's out. So far ive narrowed it down to 2 cards

    XFX GTX 260 Black, 2300MHz GDDR3, GPU 666MHz, 216
    or
    EVGA GTX 260 SC, 2106MHz GDDR3, 55nm GPU 626MHz, 216

Both are the same price, so just seeing if anyone could add some input on what one would be better. Or would i not see much between the 2, and does 65nm vs 55nm come into play?

If you could share some light onto this, would be great

    Thanks :)

I would suggest saving a few pennis and getting a stock clocked one and just OC it yourself.

ive always liked XFX, their cards look cooler, and they have double life time warrenties, however i have grown to EVGA's 90 day step up plan.

    I would get the 55nm one. :)
    The EVGA!

You could step up to 300 series when is out.. Just gotta pay extra :p

Doesn't mean they will overclock the same, the ones the TC listed are highly binned, thus you gotta pay that premium.

I disagree..my 260 is BFG OC'ed to 655Mhz Core..have seen plenty of people with stock clocked version able to OC up to and beyond 750Mhz yet mine does not want to go beyond 700Mhz.

I've always preferred XFX (When I was on the Nvidia side of the fence anyway).
