Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums, so I wanted to ask something.
    Will a E2160 processor bottleneck 8800 GTS 320mb GPU?

You should be fine with your 8800GTS tbh... I doubt it would be bottlenecked all that much.

If it's overclocked, probably no. If it's stock, there might be scenarios where you'd get higher framerate with faster CPU.
These usually overclock to 3GHz easily, so don't spare them ;)

Yes I know, but my MOBO is a piece of history and it doesn't let me overclock an inch more than my current 2.4 GHz.
Hopefully it supports core 2 duo CPU's, so i think it would be worth upgrading.

Your Pentium Dual-core is a CORE 2 DUO its base on the same microarchitecture anyways yeh your Motherboard supports any 65nm CORE 2 DUO with a 800mhz or 1066mhz front side bus IT DOES NOT SUPPORT 1333mhz CPUS

DAMN...that makes it even more worthless.
Anyway, could you tell me a powerful enough CPU, that beats this one?
And yes I know that it's BASICALLY core 2 duo, but it has smaller cache size, and some other torn down stuff.

E6600 would be a good pick maby a E6700 if you can still get them ?

    i'd just get a GA-P35-DS3L and overclock that E2160
