Two PCIE 8 pins.... this is most probably something like a GTX 280 GX2 or whatever name they are gonna give it The picture doesnt really show a CPU, but you do see some empty PCI slots ... maybe an INVISIBLE CARD :3eyes:
Maybe hilbert is going to dress up in a big red suit. Hilbert Clause is coming... To town. And have a give-away of older unwanted yet still capable video cards. What... It could happen. Come on, Momma needs to render a new pair of *****. Edit: You cant be serious, that word is censored? You censored those things you wear on your feet over your socks? Boots, sneakers, loafers... Sweat shop produced, protective walking apparatus... Footwear..
Lol, Nike spammers on a hardware forum? Most of these frail little extreme gamers probably can't even walk anymore. (I could be wrong.) Either way that's like posting barbie dolls and other various mattel toys on an automtive repair forum. *sigh*
ARGH IM SO EXCITED That's a dual GTX280 really... 480SPs, but 448-bit bus... it's a mix of 260/280 specs. And if ATi doesn't improve its 4870X2 MASSIVELY, then it's losing its crown. By far
I dont think they could sensible manage putting 2x280's on that, there would probably be too many practical issues with it.
with all due respect, i really think (in my opinion) these dual cards are really a technical excercise, i mean really if you poll i am confident that 20% or less actually SLi and amongst those who do, i bet 2% prolly do dual GPU sli's ,( and tri-Sli ...well we won't be going that way yet) but having said that, a new GPU with crazy new scores is always a good read if anything, we should or rather most GPU co. should try to mix and match different GPUs (from their own repositories) to run together (we are already on hybrid sli, but what if a 4850 could be mated to run with a 8800GT doing physics perhaps...) and if i buy a dual GPU card, i hope, for now, NVIDIA could put a 9500GT with a GTX260-216 on one PCB and that would be something....
We all understand your point paradigm... but we're hardware addicts, slapping two dual-gpu cards is just too sweet of a though to pass by This forum is the amongst the BEST places to talk about it because we, here, do care a lot!
Erm ? Why is that ? How is that different from 2x260s ? Just a few more SPs here and there. I don't really agree with your point... The ATi graphics, nVidia PhysX isn't a hardware issue, it's a problem with windows not being able to run two drivers at once or something. Not sure I agree with the single PCB point though... Imagine how long it would be... Most people have more height than depth in their cases.. If you think about it, dual GPU cards are the future because we WILL run into a wall at some point with single GPUs...
ahhh, you are talking about Radeon ... Yeah you are right! But this is not scenario for this monster ...
nice.. can't wait to read it. I'll purchase the next graphics card that produces double the performance over the current 280GTX cause right now its just a 20% increase on every card and thats getting too expensive with the economy the way it is.
