Fortunately, I don't have this problem.

 

Actually not too strange because i set Steam NOT to update automatically, i've enabled automatic updates and L4D was updated, now it works with Multicore enabled. haha

 

Did Valve add some new zombie sounds lately? L4D was updated today for me and i've noticed alot of hysterical screams by female zombies and the male ones are making funny noises as well.

I've never heard it before and i'm playing L4D daily and it was always quiet.

 

Im thinking they did also..... Also I dunno if its just me or not, it looked like pipe bombs went off a bit quicker than normal too. Also, i was in game of expert, and I swear(glitch perhaps) but the blood spurts were more than usual. Others in game said same thing.

Has this game become split screen 2 players standard yet? My girl has been wanting me to get a two player game for us to play and I thought that this would be a great two player split screen game

 

Woo i just got this game and finding it very fun- one question though, there is rumour of TF2 style updates- any official/ guestimate dates on there launch?

This runs smooth on almost every system.

It's the hl2 engine.

Good game though.

Must say, its certainly the game that suprised me the most this year (in a good way)... great game!
