    180.43

    Scene 1 : 37.5
    scene 2 : 67.6

    1440x900, dx 10, vista, 8800 gts2

    180.48

    Scene 1 : 38.2
    Scene 2 : 67

So where are the 80% boost ? Answer : in my ass.

But with DMC there is a gain :

I installed the drivers and they run perfectly. My 88GTX is significantly older than yours; driver support for dual-gpu cards will never be perfect.
    Enjoy your new ATi card.

Questuion: where are your reading skills? Answer it yourself.

The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 180 WHQL drivers vs. Release 178 WHQL drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):

Any chance you could enlighten as to "the reason"?

If not, then I would call that "random speculation without research". aka blind posting. I might even use the word "guess" if I was in a lazy mood...

Also I was happy before you told me to be, well, happy. Now that happiness is gone.

    Thanks.

Aside from driver level fan control not working, greyed out scaling options have kept me away from 180.x. Has that been fixed?

    (Vista x64 by the way)

Weird enough CoD5:WaW crashes again when using sli. (like all other drivers except 44's)

So gonna stay with dox's 180.44 at the moment, the only driver able (for me) to play CoD:WaW in sli-mode.

    I will make u a question guys:

From 50 FPS to 200 (or more) FPS, can we see any differences when we play any game?

it feels way smoother (especially in first person shooters), and for the quake-engine fanatics (quake, doom, CoD, MoH, rtcw, etc..) high stable fps like 125 or 333 are important.

I'm asking that because when I played Bioshock I enabled VSYNC on Nvidia control Panel and was always on 60 FPS, never moved from there.

When i disable it it was always over the 100 FPS, and i didn't notice any difference..

Now playing World in Conflict there a huge difference playing from 1600x1080 (40FPS max) to 1280x960 (always over 60 FPS). Here is when we have to blame Nvidia, I think.

Hi everyone (and forgive my poor english .. I'm french),
I am about to update my nvidia driver to these 180.48 and wondering if there was a way to keep all the settings of the control panel and most of all the "programs settings", made specifically for my different games.
Because when I uninstall my old driver (and use driver cleaner ... or not actually), everything is deleted and I have to do it all again !
I'd really appreciate your help !!!
    Vincent
