Just got the DOX Vista 64 installed and played a bit of Fallout. Things are good so far other than when I quit it said it crashed, but thats not a big deal I guess HL2 has been doing that for years!

It's a good thing that you tested all the machines out there to see what was wrong. Maybe you should develope some of these drivers.

anyone notice the 180 serious drives gives kinda a strange delay to 2d?? i mean when i m in windows say just surfing the web.. and i have multible tabs open, when switching from one to another theres a delay.. really annoying.. and without the drivers installed theres no issue

Dox 180.44 work alot better with fallout 3 actually. On the downside PhysX does not work at all. But since I dont use PhysX atm. for anything its ok.

How did you people get latest Nvidia PhysX software to work with this driver ? Since its not included in this driver package It must be installed separately, and when I do, its just not showing up in Nvidia control panel as in normal 180.44 ...

I've found that with the DOX drivers when I load a web page every time is finishes the whole page blinks white like it quickly reloads and if I scrolled down at all it shoots me back up to the top. Its very quick and not a big deal, but still kind of strange.

sigh gpu downclocking still present in warcraft 3 anyone else to confirm? itll downclock to 2d in XP32 and normal 3d in Vista Ult x64.

On a side note defiantly a noticeable improvement for recent titles liek COD:5 from 178.13 by about 20fps average. and yes i made sure my settings were the same on both drivers. i averaged about 45-50 on the old and no less than 60 with the new.

I wish they'd remove that PhysX **** and make it a totally seperate install. Fecking useless garbage that works in about 2 games (ok, more than 2 but you get the idea).

Some guy on Bjorn3d was saying how PhysX makes FC2 so much better. Funny thing is, FC2 uses Havok, LOL.

Just use EVGA precision to set-up a lower clocked profile while not playing and higher clocked profile when you are playing.

And set the lower profile to apply at windows start up, so you will have automatic 2D clocks...all it takes is about 15 seconds to create both profiles...

yea shadows in warcraft 3 were abit screwed as well. and too much work to make profiles for games rather just wait for it to be resolved in update.

Any support for 7 Series cards still? Or has nVidia now abandoned them with the 180.xxx drivers?

Will these profiles override the defaults? I'd hate to manually clock my cards, have the defaults randomly kick-in (which they do when using the 180.xx; sometimes it downclocks and then it will resume normal clocks) and blow my freakin cards apart. If not, excellent idea.
