Another vote for that moment :D (if we're talking about the same song, lol)

COD4: final level where you're lying on the bridge

    ***SPOILER ALERT***
far cry 2: when your "buddies" turn out not to be dead afterall and try to kill you (though this isnt a good memorable moment, its a 'WTF is wrong with you storyline writers' memorable moment)

The first sunrise in Crysis, I almost crapped my pants.

Bioshock, when I first stepped into the Medical Plaza with all the smoke and gorgeous water and all the blood on the wall, I knew the game was going to be epic.

    lol.
BioShock is awesome. Every single minute of it was perfect. I hate people who say no game is perfect, no game deserves 10/10.
Only the games that can make you overlook their flaws deserve perfect scores, I saw no flaws in BioShock

Bioshock-Last level, i was having bad time because i was realizing that one of best games ever made gonna finish.

F.E.A.R- masterpiece of game, the end levels, the vault and so on, i was feeling good to sacrifice myself to my mom, Alma, the end of the game and the promise to see more of Alma.

WWF95 the arcade game- playing at our mall, on the Mame machine with Undertaker i defeated everyone and earn a gold medal and good amount of cash back then.

At 6 years old i defeated every mario game with all level unlocked and i knew every secret, that was so legendary.

BioShock reminded me that games are so much MORE than movies. It was like a slap in the face, after playing sh!t like Crysis and Doom 3 I'd completely forgotten what a real game could be like :(
I love BioShock. So so much.

Splinter cell 4 - paid $50 for it at walmart and after install was greeted with " please insert original disk instead of backup"

Sherlock holmes on TG-16 cdrom- back when cd rom games were new, i was impressed with the fmv and interactiveness of similar FMV games

You got it, no other than FPS game can deliver such feeling, even though Doom 3 was not best game, i think the last levels were one of the best made, they made them perfect and the end was very good, the hell I can never forget it.

That moment to me and millions around the word was emotional, no game on any format imo captures a memorable gaming moment as that, exactly an answer for the thread.

Showing my age a bit too here, TOKbt6 -- that OpenGL Quake mod was amazing, but I also remember just playing the original Quake. OMG! You can look up and down and all around and the monsters are no longer flat sprites but 'real' objects, then you jump in the water and everything goes swirly... man, that was amazing!

I also loved the original Unreal when you finally got out of the tunnels and actually went OUTSIDE. OMG! You can actually go outside and there's bunnies hopping around and everything looks vast! Serriously, an amazing moment for all gamers who'd been playing flat, featureless corridor shooters for ages.

    Return To Castle Wolfenstien.
Airbase part where you begin level high up looking down. If mem servs you have to sniper troops to pass through.
The very first Medal Of Honor, where you had to walk through forrest and not get detected by the guards up high on watch towers. That might have been RTCW, cant remember.

The end of Half Life 2.
    Very clever indeed.

Im thouroughly enjoying Bioshock what a truely wonderful beautiful game.
