Have tried downloading the ati v7.79 files here and the following sites: All downloads fail crc check with the message that 205 or 206 fiels are corrupted. So I tested download of various other *.rar files from various sites and they check out as okay. Anyone else seen this with the v7.79 ATI driver files? Thus far, I have done about 20 d/l's total. Thanks for the link. Interestingly, I have WinAce installed on this particular system and it is WinAce that was giving these errors. On a lark, I installed a copy of WinRar 3.10b2 beta and my most recent download of the v7.79 driver came up clean when checking with WinRar....WinAce showed 206 corrupted files. So, the culprit appears to be my copy of WinAce. V7.79 drivers are now installed and seem to be working okay. I haven't done any benchmarking so far, nor fired up any games. I'll give that a whirl later today. Odd though, since WinAce has always handled *.rar archives well in the past. Thanks again for the link. pdiener
