    Just installed and its bugged.
The nvidia control panel doesn't detect SLI (So only one card on my 9800GX2 is working) AA and AF only let me go to 8x or 8xQ, and all other controls like desktop color and resolution are all broken.
I'm gonna try a re-install but if anyone can shine a light on this situation, it would be much appreciated.

    No install?

Used the download from laptopvideotogo plus modded 116k inf from page 1and no joy.

Fix: rename file 'nvbridge' to 'nvbridge.kmd'

Absolutely same here, PhysX also don't work. Maybe there is a problem with "supported" 9800 GX2.
Go back to 178.15 for now.

I think your right. There were as I remember problems when the 9800GX2 was released.
I have tried re-downloading and using a modified inf from laptopvideo2go, but results are still the same.
    Back to 178.26

    ok, i installed the 180.10.

control panel works fine. no compability problems with riva tuner, can conrol the fan speed. everything looks ok, but i can't see and huge boost or improvment in games...

The major improvement these drivers are supposed to deliver, david85, is multi-monitor support, when running a SLI configuration. ;)

The performance increase Nvidia was talking about, was most likely already implemented in the 178.24 driver - compared to the 175.19:

These don't support Hybrid SLI from my testing..

I think we sorta need some nano type of graphic card, which rebuild's her self when the old version cant handle game we plays :)

I would but with no fan control there is absolutely no way I'm risking my GPUs overheating to run a Crysis bench with these.

Had the 178.15 to 178.24 give for someone high performance increase?
    (like mine, 350Points)

edit: tested 3dmark06, nothing changed. ( i think is like this since 177.79)

I installed these drivers from laptopvideo2go and used the inf file from this forum. I also changed the previously said file to the right extention. Dirver works for me just fine. The nvidia control panel now gives me an option to enable physix under the sli section as well as an sli focus section.

I installed the system tools 6.03 and it works fine for me. I can adjust the fan speed on my cards as well with this version.

The fan speed can be controlled via the latest Nvidia System Tool 6.03.
    That can be found here.

    Happy testing :)

vantage shows a 580 and 370 point gain in performance and xtreme respectively.

performance is up from 14903 with 177.83 to P15488
xtreme is up from X6150 with 177.83 to X6517

clocks are maybe a touch lower than with 177.83 which were 734/1512/2700, now 730/1512/2664 as I chose to sacrifice a little speed for tighter memory timings on tRAS, tRFC, tRP, tRRD, tRCD_WR/RD, tRC.
