I just finished working my second day and I have to say its amazing I am already pricing new voice mail servers for them fixing computers I had a short video conference today with our new jersey office met with a Dell representative about leasing new laptops A lot better than my old job of installing tires
Congrats dude, its always nice to get a better job, great step up from installing tires And I know how you feel, I just started at an internship for a year at Hydro One (they own all of Ontario's power transmission lines in Canada), looking forward making the best of it.
That's nice ! Congrats ! am jealous here. Looking to step up soon myself (only 20 y/o but for these kind of things it's never too early) Am currently doing the helpdesk(call centre) job for some similar task to yours, only no hands on, all remotely -_-
woohoooo nice one bud now remember you promised me when you started workin' there you'd ship me that 48" tft? lol
The sales associates I work with sell a lot of LG laptops, and in 9 months on the job, I've only had to replace parts in 1 (a wireless adapter, which LG don't make themselves anyway), so I can estimate that the number of corners cut in their laptop manufacturing is few to none. Excellent machines.
ahah well lg, so far, doesn't cut any corners from what I can tell very good with all their equipment they dont skip when it comes to buying new equipment when we need it
I have to wait to pass probation though before I get the discount but i am going to be buying some tvs and monitors and whatever else I can find. They are also paying for my cell phone bill I am still trying to get used to this whole desk thing I'm still used to my half an hour lunch from Costco now I get a hour lunch, they all think I'm weird for eating so fast.
Just tell them u do that for Military training thats what I do anyways i eat lunch within 5mins or less no time to waste...something could happen and you might have to abandon your chow
Awesome man, congrats on the job, I hope it goes well for you. I just started a new job last week maintaining databases, not that exciting but the company I work for Rock
