i had to do the same, my orginal card was a evga sc 8800gt, seen a good deal on for another evga 8800gt, so i flashed it the same as my original card no problem as of yet, hope that helps good luck
thanks man! thats exactly along the lines of what I was thinking. just wanted to make sure someone else has had success doing something similar.
No, should work no matter what, GTX+ and GTX will SLI together despite the different ram, different GPU code and nm size, etc. just as long as it's the same speeds which should be no problem...just OC the GTX to stock GTX+ speeds and you're good to go as if you had two GTX+'s in SLI, just can't OC as much as if you had two GTX+'s But you don't need to flash...and i would recommend against it aswell as flashing a GTX with a GTX+ bios could confuse it, as said above, the GTX+ has a difference GPU number, lower nm, and different ram
your going to love benching that gtx+ karmakazi even in sli with a gtx they are much faster for benching then the 4850's g/l
strange.... my Zotac 790i is recognizing the 9800gtx+ (sitting in the 3rd pci-e slot) as an 8800GT.... very wier.d..
