Hi Ray, today i tried for the first time the new ATT with 4000 support.
I noticed that the minimum for gpu clock is 600. I would like to set 160 in 2d environment, like i did with a bios modded by me, in order to save energy. Suggestions?

Sorry if I was not clear As I upgraded HD3870 -> HD4870 All settings were reread from Card "New Card Detected" Except FAN (That one I noticed) which are left to settings I have set for HD 3870 and as IDLE temp of 4870 is higher ~52C on 4870 and ~39C on 3870 thus Fan speed were higher also Reload fixed that (Reload sensor values I guess) and my tweak helped to make less DB to my ears.

Edit: Same as Bhairava post above except My minimum is 624, with CCC I was able to set 500.

General Settings->Overclocking limits. Set download limit to 100 or 150 %

Side effect: cod4 no longer crashes for me when I swotch OSD and/or FPS ON/OFF via a hotkey. Thanks a lot !!

    MaX.

    P.S.
You were right for the "Restore after susped" issue, it was me having it unchecked (dumb !). Anyway, it's probably a good idea to have it checked by default.

I agree and will turn it ON by default in clean installation.

yes, increaing Voltages seems to be a Problem. But im only talking about "lowering" Voltages only!
And lowering the GPU Voltage isnt possible on 4870 with Stock Ati Bios. (read my Post above)

This is the newer unlocked ATI Bios from 17June with 1.203V instead of 1.263V
    http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/17578/ATI.HD4870.512.080617.html

"Lowering" the GPU voltage is working with this Bios, 100% sure .

You can also unlock your own Bios for lower Voltages with RBE 1.14.

Little problem: OSD hotkeys don't work with Alone in the Dark. No problem with other games.

For some reason the ATT doesn't create log file however it is checked in SYSTEM HARDWARE MONITOR---WRITE TO LOG FILE and it is pointed to DESKTOP but no LOG file was ever created ? any help? I redirected to the Rays Folder of ATT but again nothing.

With 1271, overlocking works again. Thanks!

Some games blocks low level keyboard hooks. And it seems that this game is from that "list"

No. And I'm not sure that it will in near future. Too complicated

You can do the same with ATT :)
You just need to create two profiles with ONLY fan included and make these changes in Autooverclocking:
Command line -i=* will apply settings for ALL video boards. And it should work with CrossFireX configurations too. 3 and more ps.

Thank you anyway! But there is a small bug in ATT while overclock X1600Pro AGP. When I set, for example, 600MHz core, after applying ATT sets the clock to 594MHz. And the same with memory. ATT applies clocks always lower than I set.
