Ovcedrive yes, ANDGpuClock - no. ATT use same procedures as AMDGPUClock.

Is there any way to get my fan speed settings to load on start up? I'll set it to manual and be fine till I reboot and then it's back to the dangerously low fan speed.

JoshuaC, you need to save a profile. Select your speeds (whether manual or automatic) and make sure under Fan Control, in the 'Fan' tab, you tick/check 'Include in Profile'.

Once you've done that, make sure you have your profile open/selected and at the bottom of the 'Fan' tab you should tick/check 'Load selected profile at startup'.

If you do this correctly, your fan settings should work on startup.

A question, though. Where in ATT can one select the 'merge 3D' mode? Haven't seen it....

    r2rX :)

Ray do you have any idea why ATT is unable to control the fan in my case?
Should I install ATT with the HD3xxx fan fix for my HD4850 or not?

I think the HD4850 doesn't have fan control because you need 4 wires for it and yours has 3 wires (12v, sensor, ground).

I agree. You fan may not be connected properly by vendor. As I know Zalmans there are no needs to run it lower than 100%. Its already must be quite even at maximum speed. But only Zalman I sow before is my old CPU Zalman 7000b. And it was always at maximum speed. :)

    Hi!

ATI driver version is 8.8 (latest), ATT 1.5.8.1260

Hardware/overlocking settings overlock can't work correctly.
    Show 3D renderer - click
Find max for mem - click
Default mem freq 700mhz. After few sec test, the memory speed slider go very fast to the right side, and stop at 1053Mhz(!), and say this app:"reached maximum clock value. Increase maximum in ... options" lol. This is much higher than works value.

GPU equal. Default is 580. I click find max for GPU. After few sec, gpu freq is 871 mhz and app say: "reached maximum clock value. Increase maximum in ... options"

    Cheers, dude. ;)

I've not encountered any issues with ATT and Catalyst 8.8 so far, but i'll continue testing and keep a look out.

Hi Ray, haven't commented in here for a while, but I've been keeping up with the betas..

The latest build, .1264 works very well for me with CAT 8.8. So far it seems to be the best combination of driver and ATT I've had since I got my 3870 X2.

GPU Activity % Listed as Unknown in Monitoring Graphs.

Predefined 3D Profiles are working without a problem.

Thanks again for your work. Cheers.

For some reason I can't make a overclocking profile in the latest beta version.

Your wrong. I check it, AMD GPU Clock doesn't cause any flikkering on the screen when changing the gpu speed.

    1. Same Problem with DX9 and DX10 executable
DX is up to date. I dont care about f the 32Bit exe works or not.
I need ATT working with 64bit exexcutables so i dont have to worry about ATT Problems with the 32Bit exe

    2. As i said before...i (and all Crysis 64bit/ATT Users i know) have same Problem with a manually created Profile for Crysis
64bit exe : Auto clocking wont work
    32Bit exe : Appcrash

    @RayAdams
Is there any chance to see a ATT with 64Bit support so we can use it without tweaks on Vista x64 and without Problems with 64bit executables ? :)
Otherwise there are still lots of x64 users who cant/want use your great ATT, sadly. I mean so much users are using Vista x64.....

PS. Sorry , my English is not good and i hope you can understand me :)

I have no flickering in ATT too, so I can not check it. But I know AMDGpuClock :) Same procedure used as in ATT. Anyway. There are now way for 4870 to overclock memory without flickering.

    Ok. Will fix it.

Forget about it. ATT is 32 bit application and 64 bit application can be detected.

Find alternative :) I will not release 64 bit ATT because of 2 or 3 64 bit games :)

I agree with you, but the 64bit OS are arriving on our markets and with the need to use more than 3,2GB of RAM the people choose to install this version.

So, not now, but in a remote future, a 64bit release could be a need... :)

not only the Games... im talking about vista x64 :)
So much Users are using Vista x64....most Users in some german Forums like 3Dcenter or ForumDeluxx are using Vista x64 because of 4Gb+ Ram and they cant use ATT, very sad imho!
I cant understand where is your Problem .
We are are in the year 2008 and 64Bit is Mainstream.
In the near Future you will loose more and more ATT Users..but so far i can see...you dont care about it

    Nevermind...ill switch to another Tool..Bye

It works on Windows XP & Vista x64. There is plenty of information available in this forums, think even in this thread, to get it running on Vista x64. It just doesn't work with x64 game executables - which are rare anyway.
