    Why did you not compare this to the 9800GX2?

    Great review as allways ... but how you removed FPS cap from Mass Effect? Thanks!

    Seek the BIOEngine.ini and add:

    bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE
    MinSmoothedFrameRate=1
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=999

    Overclockers have em (Powercolor) here in the UK for £376! Comes bundled with Grid...

    Mmmm, that's a lot of money for no real performance increase over a 4870 CF set-up.

    Great review tho... thanks! :)

    Very nice review. This card is a monster wow.
    But for me i don´t need a monster card like this one. I´ll wait for the prices to drop a bit and get a single gpu HD4870. This will do the job just fine for me.

    So Hilbert, any long shot at when the 4850x2 will be released? Like this month, next or later this year?

    :bigsmile:Awesome review! Thank you. I'm new to most of this so these "in depth" super detailed reviews you do are an amazing source of knowledge for me. I'm currently building my first rig and won't be able to purchase this GPU for a month or two. Maybe, hopefully, price will come down by then. Or maybe the 4850X2 will be out by then and you'll enlighten me further in my choosing of a GPU. Thanks again. :thumbup:

    I have a question

    I have a very logical question : Why does anyone including this website uses old drivers for nvidia when comparing with ati?
    The performance of nvidia drivers before 177.79 is low!
    And what is that low perfomance in grid i have nvidia gtx 280 and i get up to 200 fps!
    Why does everyone try to promote ati!
    Have you test the psyx perfomance in games which support ageia?
    Do all of you know that 4870x2 microstutters! Imagine the stuttering in crossfire!
    The performance of any ati card in ageia games sucks big!
