Hi. This is my first post. Here is a a picture of it working. PhysX 8.06.12 and 177.79 Vista 32 Bit from eVGA website. http://img292.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pshyx1779xf4.png
I still can't get physx to work in ghost recon advanced warfighter2. I have the 9800gtx and it shows that nv physx is enabled on the GPU. I don't know what else to do.
they are just another 177.xx driver, 9600gt not working, only 175.xx works here, anyways i think it will work when they update physx driver (5h august?)
Working fine here ... didn't test any game here .. not playing anything that requires this actually , maybe i'll try GRAW 2 a bit later ..
All the pictures that you guys are showing I get the same. The GPU is enabled but it doesn't work fro GRAW2. The demos work just fine.
I'm pretty sure the current PhysX driver only supports the Unreal Tournament 3 Physx Mod and 3DMark Vantage. I think the new one coming out next week will support GRAW and GRAW 2.
weel i just play GRAW2 and didnĀ“t a change, i have trhe same drivers.. and should i see in the video options something about physx enable ?
to enable physx in graw 2 you can force it by altering your settins folder , mine is here C:\Users\Percy\AppData\Local\GRAW2\settings\profiles\archie <has_physx value="true" /> <<this setting will say false change it to true as here <physics value="2" /> <this setting will say 0 , 1 is for normal physX 2 is for the extreme physX set it as you wish. Ive tried it btw and i made no differance at all but its worth a shot
Can you use 177.35 Cuda driver? I don't remember it saying this when I downloaded NVIDIADisplayWin2K(177_35)Int for XP. "(177.35). Includes driver support for 8 series and higher GPUs." - edit I wonder if that includes game support? Probably just physx support for cuda I guess. http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html I'd prefer not to use 177.79 drivers. - I'm just going to have to wait for driver release maybe today sometime I figure. Oh here we go it's working now. These 177.79 release candidate seem great if you uninstall your previous drivers and run a driver clean before installing them.
