I have problems with this driver. I've installed it according to all rules, safe mod-DC-save mod-install. I've reinstalled PhysX 8.06.12 and 3DMark Vantage too. When I start all tests of Mark Vantage with enabled PhysX and when begin the CPU2 test I have this error and crash:

When I started only CPU2 test I haven't this problem.
    Any suggestions?!
That's way I'm go back to 177.73 for now.

Anyone else getting stuttering in games that run on the Source engine. The stuttering seems to be predominantly in TF2 but i've seen "mini-stutters" in DOD: source and CS:S.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Can people start looking into this problem. It looks like a Source engine specific thing.

I haven't played GMod since the new drivers/update(s) came out. I'll load it up when i get home. Should we start a new thread regarding this?

Could anyone tell me if these newer 177.** generation and above drivers are quicker than the older Xfastest 175.70 drivers?

theyre faster on my machine... the only way to find out for sure is to test them yourself.

and honestly, i would MUCH prefer it if people stopped with the useless 'downloading now' posts and tried to keep posts limited to something that might be useful to someone else :)

I noticed a weird issue with these drivers and WOW the screen blinks a weird pattern for a moment when you start the game, or minimize it. Also the AA quality is not as good as the 175.16 its the weird edge dot bug that was around with the 169.21 drivers.

    run down of specs

    WinXPpro SP3
    8800GTS (g92)

    Here is a SS comparision.

First SS is the 175.16, Second is the 177.79beta

Look close and you will see the DOTS along the edge of the claw.

Not sure what to tell you here man. I've used every Nvidia series card since Geforce 2 and never had this show up except for one game....Hellgate London, and that was on my 8800 Ultra. I havent had it with any other program or game.
