I heard a lot of spider platform and sli and crossfire, but the real question is :

¿What mobo is the best (price-performance) with the ONLY ONE msi 8800gt?

this question becouse I have a crappy amd athlon 4200+ and it can't take advantage of all the power of my videocard.

    What mobo-processor is the best?

Q6600 with nforce or 8300 chipset on motherboard?

Phenom 9850 with 770 chipset on motherboard?

any good answer will be appreciated... :help:

    Go with a E8400 and a P35 or P45 motherboard.

I bought a xfx 8800gt alpha dog xxx 512mb card to go with my athlon 4200+.I wasnt that impressed with it as i play games,so i changed my mobo to gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5.It ran a lot better then the phenom 9850 came out so i got one. I can honestly say, what a diffrence all my games run on the highest settings including Crysis.I can also overclock the phenom to 3ghz with amd overdrive. So my advice would be get a phenom with a Gigabyte mobo.
I can also say i used to hate Vista. Until they brought out sp1. Now i wouldnt go back to xp for anything. Im using Vista ultimate x64.
    Hope this helps.

+1, this would be your best option.

thanks but i need more explanations...

well, can someone explain me why intel e8400 is better than q6600. I know about the better clock of e8400 (3ghz). Can I overclock e8400 to 4ghz with air cooling? Does it Q6600 better multitask than E8400 in vista?

I play games and I do video encoding too. Is better e8400 doing video encoding than phenom 9850?? :war:

The E8400 can be OC'd to 4.0GHz with air cooling. Since you said you're going to be gaming and multitasking I suggest you get a P35/P45 motherboard and a Q6600.
