@ Hankyman: if you wanna flash your Bios: take your own saved with GPU-Z, edit the 2D Mode, 3D Mode and take the same values of the Extra Mode...and flash that bios...
should be the better way ;-)

Not sure why I am even bothering to answer your post, but here goes ---> IT IS NOT THE SAME !

So, as previously posted ---> try before commenting ?

Or since the linked bios was actually aimed at Hanky Man, let's wait for his comments after flashing with the bios ?

    :)

Making your bios's "2D" values exact same as "Extra" values will certainly cause the card to run at same speeds regardless of whether 2D or 3D mode is selected by the driver ---> 2D/3D switching will still occur, you just shouldn't be aware of it?

However, at a basic level, this kind of mod shows the bios as obviously being modded and therefore could affect the card's warranty ?

On the other hand, playing around with the bios's "3D" values will have no affect on the card's operation ---> Since your bios's "3D" option values are not used !

So to reitterate, you shouldn't make "forceful" comments (negative or otherwise) on a topic you obviously don't properly understand ?

    :)

Next time, TRY to describe WHY it isn't the same...cause Nbitor show me that they are....this is the base for my arguments (that i mentioned before)..
More description less argueing :) (would be a nice advice, but ITS just ME)

PS: The only change that i can see: its from 2007 and hankymans bios was from 2008 (like mine)...what did you modify than?

    PS2: that means, that he has 2D and 3D mode now...but I thought: 8800GTs doesn't have 2 Modes, didn't you say that?

Nice one, really nice one....i have no doubts now...really dude, learn to read...

i tried to help him, the only one who is attacking is you ;-)
don't believe me, ask the other here..
but never mind...i don't want any problems here...

    Just for my Info:
Isn't your posted bios modded? => warranty gone...??
and if he wants his card running at 3D Performance all the time=> shouldn't he change the 2D Mode (exact clocks as 3D mode) => would be the same effect....??

@hankaman: do you have 2D and 3D mode working now? or just 3D mode?

Dudes don't get so aggressive here.
After I flashed the card with the modded Bios I now have constant 3D clock - and im very fine with it.
I guess you (also me) couldn't see a difference between the Bios files because the changes that were made (in this case 3D mode only) are deep insinde the bios file and nibitor is not showing these settings.
    Thanks for all your help.

No I can still modify with Rivatuner but of course only the 3D clock and right now it runs at 700/1760/1050.

    ok, at leat it work.
What I don't get is: why you git the switching before?

I mean i have the same card, had the same bios (exactly) and for me it was working just fine (2d in windows and switch to 3d when i was playing or using another 3d app)...why was yours switching in 30 second rhythm...
That's a thing I would like to know...
And I still can't imagine why...

I got 2D and 3D mode settings as well.
Noticed that when I splayed WoW the cards where running with the 2D settings.
So I forced the cards to use 3D speeds 24/7 with RT.

Running on Vista x64 with 177.41
