    Changes:

    6.12 Beta 7...

    Fixed nVidia FX/NVS detection

    6.12 Beta 8...

Support cpu affinity by default, this is related to an nVidia problem and awaits core-side changes.
    Fix saving of proxy settings.
Add additional parameters field in advanced preferences - no more shortcut editing!!!
UNSTABLE_MACHINE count reset after a correctly finished WU, for long-running systems
Open configuration dialog box when invalid settings detected
    Changes to advanced configuration panel

This will NOT fix problems related to cores of course, like the viewer problems, nVidia desktop lag/lockups, etc.

Installation notes: You must uninstall the previous version before installing this version.

    Enjoy...

    6.12 beta 8

Wow seems they are updating it pretty quickly right now, maybe SLI support will be coming in short order. ;) maybe its the huge increase in work that has spurred them to move so fast.

My SMP client seems to be hanging when I have this new client running, I've tried setting affinity so the gpu client has one core to itself and the SMP the other three, but it still happens

SLI folding would be sweet, imagine tri or quad *drool*

SLI would be nice, or even the ability to run multiple GPU Clients for multiple GPUs; however, you would probably have to disable SLI to run dual, tri or quad SLI.

When/if they introduce a SLI GPU Client will it run like the SMP Client ? or just how ever many clients per GPU ?

I just figured it out, my net connection seems to be screwy atm., every time it goes down the SMP client hangs. It was just coincidence that I installed the new GPU client at the same time the router went fubar :/

    Easily fixable.

Well known problem with XP and SMP, wifi/ethernet goes down the smp client goes down with it.

AirCool is correct on this one,

Wen I was running SMP on my P4 with my WiFi adapter, everytime the connection would spike, the SMP cores would crash/hang/etc.

MS LoopBack Adapter fixes it no problems.

Cheers mate, trying it out now

Meanwhile I think it could be time for a new router...

Very nice, up and running again. I am pulling down 5300PPD, with this and the 177.41 drivers!

New core out for it too.

Delete the old Fahcore11.exe and it'll redownload it.

Try force upgrading to the latest core:

Close the client and navigate to:

And delete "FahCore_11", re-open the client and let it update.

Also try newer drivers as I cannot see any slow downs of hanging at my end (improved alot with the new core and new drivers!).

Core 1.07 is out. Gives some improvement with multi-core CPU's. Has to be manually downloaded, and put in directory.

    updated, however:

(I think they had a typo. I think the title should have read "... for users with multi - CPU boards")
