Whenever I try to run nTune, I get a BSOD. Any ideas? A thread I found on another site said it's because my chipset isn't by nVidia, but the motherboard is nForce? WTF? Anyway, if you have any ideas, I'd love to know. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 9450 Mobo: XFX nForce 780i SLI Motherboard RAM: 4 GB Corsair Dominator RAM (DDR2) (2X2GB sticks) Video Card: EVGA nVidia 9800 GTX Power Supply: PC Power and Cooling 750W power supply
yeah nforce is nvidia's motherboard chipset name. my mate has the same prob, he has a 680i mobo and an 8800gtx if he runs ntune he gets a bsod. try using rivatuner instead of ntune if your trying to monitor or oc your card
nTune and Blue screen on my system all the time... During start up.. Load of junk , I've never been able to use it because of this reason alone..
use your bios to OC your cpu, read the guides in the overclocking section before you do anything, and NEVER OC using a program in windows
^^^ wise advice. as your finding out ntune is useless with vista 64.as d suggested you should ONLY oc via the bios.doing it thru software is just asking for headaches.
