Man, frist...look if your card have any mod to XT or XTX.
    Secont...OVERCLOCK man your CPU...this is too slow...xux..
my 6320 are on 3,43 ghz...

your card is descent, but...untrapassed, dont support dx10 ( im use server 2003 ) dont have dx10 on this...
sell this card and get an simple 8800 320 MB...you see an big difference...
and AGP MOBO is the past...take an pci express, minimun 16x...

    bye

the revision 1 cards didnt come with heatsinks on the vrm's, so they have a greater chance of overheating. if you dont have that problem then your pretty lucky because a lot of the cards had massive problems.

the vrm's are voltage regulators for the gpu. this one has no heatsink on it.

Just took my HIS IceQ3 cooler off and applied some arctic silver5 paste. Benchmarked and ran cod4 for over an hour and no probs.
Idle temps are 38c max load 56c inside my well ventilated case.

Is this normal or high still?

Those temps are just fine . These chips tend to run hot

I have the ati version 1950 and flashed the bios so i have the 16 pipes open

This is not a bad card at all . Runs most the games i have with no problem
