Hmm may I know what drivers you are using at the moment plz? (under WInXP x32 or Vista x64)

 

What UT2004 problems are we talking about? The only noticeable one I've seen is that Vista (x64) performance is bull**** compared to XP x86.

 

ive heard rumours that theres going to be a massive rewrite to shader code in the 177 series. (Fixed function to sm2 conversion bug), i have not got a clue what this means but sounds good lol

 

I still have a feeling ill be running my 9800GX2 well after the GTX 280 releases.

wohoo new drivers coming soon =] I hope they optimize them! I want to try out crysis with all settings on very high (on high works fine =]) and also probably no more little fps drop in assasin's creed

Ut2004 stutters with unified-shader Nvidia cards, under Win XP. Not for everyone, though, apparently.

 

It's pretty much confirmed that anyone claiming to not get the stuttering is either not playing the right maps or flat out lying.

 

i dont get any stuttering and im playing on "high" level (CB, best clan in my country)i dont have any problems with ut2k4 since i get my gtx, not in xp and now not in vista (32/64).
And i know what im talkin, when i switch from crt to lcd i though that i cant play anymore (60fps) so i can notice any small diffrence in gameplay.

 

My favorit game is Red Orchestra and i've been suffring from the stutter bug ever since i bought the G92 8800GT.
I can play the game just fine but one some maps, especialy indoor maps, I get a kind of graphics lag.

Its been almost 2 years now since people first started reporting about it and its over a year since NV promised too fix it.

Last report from Nvidia said they're going to solve the shader problem in the 177.xx drivers.

 

I hope they will fix horrible performance in Tomb Raider Legend in Next-Gen option, on 88xx and 98xx series of gpu.

 

Turn on weapon-view, then play in the CTF-Citadel flag rooms.

 

where is it!!!!!! we aint had a new beta fe over a week ive gone cold turkey, what happened to a beta every other day i was having fun has some plumber plugged the leak?

 

If those are supposed to fix the stuttering issues, they can take their time and release a nice and stable version in one or two weeks I don't mind. Nvidia, just do it!
