I have bought XFX 8800 GTX Extreme Edition. it has default clock at "Core 600Mhz, Shader 1350Mhz and Memory 950Mhz". I just want to know that at what clocks my 8800 GTX works perfectly fine....? What should be the Core/Shader/Memory clocks of my 8800 GTX Card....? Hope for helpful replies from your experts
well my gtx's came at 600mhz core and 900 memory. Unless using aftermarket cooling on the card I would say dont go past 620 on the core (maybe 630, depending on the particular card). But Im sure many here think differently than I. I dont usually overclock my video cards except for benchmarks. As for the memory clock, I would say maybe go up to 980, 1000 may be pushing it on stock cooling. But again, Im sure some may disagree.
