Does that mean that it will only work with non-quadro cards if the .inf is modded?

 

No all other cards are supported, Nvidia only list the Quadro's in the Products Supported section on their site for them as they are their Quadro drivers, all the other cards are listed in the .inf (which is whats posted in the op), and they work fine here, and as always with a Quadro set, IQ is great.

What resolution/AA-AF settings are you running 3DMark06 at?

 

That doesnt mean anything im sorry to say. 3dmark06 isnt a good benchmark when testing drivers. The little difference you got, you can get with the same driver used 2 times. 3dmark06 is very sensitive for small changes in youre system, so those 17 points you got plus doesnt necessarily come from the driver. Its better you test something like Crysis, or UT3 and see if you get any real world performance gain. If you would have said that you got a 5-10 fps gain in some game, then I would really get excited. 3dmark06, says nothing.

EDit: Hopefully the nvidia promised WHQL driver coming this week for Geforce cards is good??? Hope hope hope.

EDIT: Thx for the heads up btw, anyone with any real world benchies??? Crysis, UT3, Cod4,.......

 

Tested WinXP 32bit drivers and so far so good. AC works and i think its smoother and i dont get those random hickups here and there running around cities. TF2 is smooth and CSS too and good fps 3Dmark score almost identical as on 174.74 > 13616pts. Crysis the same but the min fps raised by 1fps <wow> Keepers for me for now. Will try to test them a bit more tomorrow...

 

Installed on a fresh Vista X64 SP1 install. Good drivers for Crysis. Will report benchmark results later, got work to do.

Sli profiles not working for various games (crysis, wic), even after restoring sli profiles from old drivers (174.74) using nhancer's backup the performance was reduced substantialy.
