    guys i need some help
    sorry my poor english
    i m having 2 problems
my rig is: c2duo e6600, asus p5w dh deluxe, 4 gb ddr800, 850 psu thermaltake and vista 32bits

1st problem: before i instal this vga, my vista used to detect 3gb ram
after i install it, it detects only 2 gb. why?

    2nd problem: the gx2 scored only 10890 points at 3dmark 06

and my previous vga (8800gtx) used to score 11980 with the same rig

    im using 174.74 driver
    all the leds are green

What a crock of sh*t statement. No, the 9 series isn't the jump in performance from the 8 series we wanted. But for the price point/great performance, and if upgrading from a 6 or 7 series, the 9600GT and 9800GTX's are a great deal.

Hi m8 i think it may be a cpu bolltleneck . If you know how and if not use the guide in the cpu section , overclock your cpu to 3ghz. You will be amazed by how much the perfromance will jump. It's almost like the 9800GX2 needs that much cpu power to operate. I say this because when i send my Q6600 back to stock ( 2.4ghz ) my GX2 sucks lol.

    hmmm.......besides the cpu b/l in 06.
i'd try to re-install your video drivers.
sometimes my card goes in single card mode for no reason, and a simple driver re-install gets it back.
the other day i was scoring like 12k in 06 whick i knew was way low, then i re did drivers than back to 20k+ with my 8500 at 4.5.
just make sure you leave the sli mode at predefined

No the card will only show as 512 mb as its not a total, I have two 9800 GTX but it doesnt give me double the ram for video i still only have 512 MB. As for only seeing 2 GB of memory in vista, vista can only address upto 3 GB memory, as any 32 bit OS. This includeds ram and other ram on the system. As you card has technicaly 1 GB of ram, you will only see 2 GB Ram.

Try downloading newer drivers 174.88 or up. 174.74 are sh*t with p5w DH.

That score is good at ur PC.

Dont forget that 9800GX2 is a SLI based card, SLI improve in games.

    Just test a game.

the only thing about his score that makes me think it was bugging in 06 is the fact that his gtx was scoreing more at same quad cpu clocks.
the gx2 should score more at same clocks, hence why i said re install drivers

when my card spazed out,it still showed both cards and sli enabled but was getting alittle less than one card scores,my geuss is that was from one of the cards getting "carried" by the other
