Sure do unless they are running on the unreal engine. Then you will need to use the bioshock hack.

Ok just tested them on my SLI laptop config.

    3DMark06 comparisons :
173.65 : 8683 (but this one wasn't stable in SLI)
    174.31 : 8600
    174.51 : 8688
    174.53 : 8756

And i also played to crysis in DX10, and it seems that the strange flickerings i still had sometimes with the 174.51 are gone... but i haven't played enough to be sure about this though, will have to play more hehe.

Even for a 0.02 more advanced driver, 70 3dmark06 points in SLI is undoubtly better.

Well they workd as good as the 174.51 just a teeny weeny bit better. But games run very nice... no probs at all...

No superbig changes in 3DMark06... still good ol 10.050

Yeah thx for the INF´s! But it shouldnt have to be like this where users need to modify files to get working drivers. NV should follow ATI suit and make the drivers universal, it would actually save them money in the long run, but propably they arent that smart. They only think of short income, if they think that ppl will buy some rehashed g80 cards in disguise just because the drivers released only work with them?? I think not, I should think a bit longer and think about how much they pay for exclusitivity?

174.51 - when forcing AA from nvidia cpl for R6 Vegas, atleast one of the terr hunt maps played terrible (Library, right at spawn, inside all was ok). One other map (LVU Campus) played very well. Don't know if that map plays bad on all drivers/cards, never really had powerful card to test AA on R6 Vegas ! :D
Anyone with R6Vegas and 174.53 to check this, or other ppl with AA probs?

    3DMARK06 Score

My 3DMARK06 score dropped from 14800 with 164.12 drivers to 12300 with these 174.53 drivers, this is with Vista x64. I've adjusted just about every setting to tweak it, no go... I'll have to do some real world game testing to determine if I go back to 174.12 drivers.

No it doesnt matter which folder, just remember to copy the inf posted on this thread over the original one or the drivers wont work.

Finally a 174 driver that works right. Tested it with Crysis and it ran better than the 169.21 omega drivers that I was stuck with. Gonna test them out some more to see how stable they are. Oh and if anybody uses the Crysis Benchmark Tool, I was wondering. When the benchmark starts do you always see a black square like shape on the left side of the screen in the water as the camera is pulling down? I notice it on all the 174 drivers I've tested. :3eyes:

wow these driver are nice, they give Halo 2, Gears of War and The Club around 10fps more. Halo 2 i was getting 52fps now 60fps, Gears of War with AA on before 27fps now 34fps which is smooth now, The Club was getting in 20fps now 33fps.

you'll get ~3 fps more in 1280x1024 on high settings. (running GPU benchmark for 3 loops). They optimized that in 174.20 driver set ;)

PS. I am talking about XP 32bit driver.

Yeah back to 174.12 x64 for me, I get no crashing but the performance isn't there in SLI. Bioshock 1920x1200 x4AA never dropped below 60fps with 174.12 x64, but with the 174.53 x64 drivers it drops in certain spots into the 40's.

Crysis seems to be the same performance which is 35-60 with my modded version everything on very high with except for shaders (high) but you turn god lighting and parallax mapping on and drop shadow texture to 512.

Oblivion with a 4096x4096 and all the other mods gets about the same frame rate also 60+ pretty much everywhere some slight shuddering in certain places moving sideways around objects (never did that in XP).

3DMark06 was 2000+ lower with 174.53 x64 than 174.12 x64, so I converted back before trying World in Conflict. UT3 seemed the same but did not use ut3bench, just started FRAPS and got on-line (that game runs so fast @ 1920x1200 noAA it doesn't matter) guess I could have turned AA on and benched it with ut3bench, maybe later.

Bottom line for me, the drivers don't seem to be optimized like 172.12 x64 for SLI. Which is really odd because the 9800 GX2 is just two 8800GTS PCB's glued together (sheesh ATI raped them with the 3870 x2 design).

    No they didnt :p

    The 9800gx2 Whoooooops the 3870x2.
And the 3870x2 is just 2 3870s stuck together aswell :p

anyone having bluescreens or anything with these? i tried the 174.51s, but it bluescreened for the nv driver crash several times, so i went back to the 169.61 quadro drivers ive been using. i dont really wanna try these if theyre gonna do that still.

ive got vista x64 with SLI 7800 GTs.
