No I can not add these voltages. And I don't think they will be applied :)

2 antzen - Do you CrossFire? I need report from second button

We already tested that anything higher than limit (reported in ATT) will not be applied. Look in last two pages

You mean ATT can't apply them? Why? (I'm a little bit curious :D), because they can be applied via overdrive due to the bios mod...

Anyway thanks for the info and thanks for your support :)

    EDIT

    See what I mean:

This with OD active, clocks not forced with ATT.

2 antzen - Ok. Can you please try use overclocking? Also what kind of monitorings do you have?
Do not forget to download last beta version of ATT

It is better than the "atttool" without "CCC" or "CCC" to install?

If you don't use any special function in CCC, no needs to install it.

Sapphire Radeon HD 3850 AGP FAN control

    Dear Adam

I just downloaded the latest beta version of ATI Tray Tool, and as for the FAN control only the manual mode is working yet.

I tried Riva Tuner 2.08 too, there the automatic FAN control is working, but I would love to use ATI Tray Tool instead. Unlike Riva Tuner, ATI Tray Tool fits to ATI cards rather than Nvidia ones.

Untill this time I used ATItool but it does not work with my Radeon HD 3850 AGP at all. Sadly it looks like that ATItool has been abandoned by its developers...

so please take a look on this automatic FAN control function :)

    kind regards
    Peregrinator

Hey Ray, downloaded the latest beta, however tempurature monitoring still does not work. When I click monitor graphs nothing at all happens.

It's the frame counter. Even if there are no other displays on like temp etc., it stutters. Makes the game stutter counting frames every second or continuous. Anything you can do about this Ray? Real prevalent in UT3 based games ie: Bioshock, MOHA, etc.

Also noticed the more you have displayed the lower your frame rates. Even just adding the frame counter and no other displays like speed or temp will lower frames. But the more you monitor during gamers the lower the frame rate. Found this out benchmarking. Anything you can do about this as well Ray? Thanks again.

Ray I also notice the frame rate drop and higher latency in TF2 since enabling the OSD.

Also does undervolting work yet? I have tried droping the V and no real reduction in heat noticed at idle in 2D clock mode.

    Thanks.

Hi, im new here and i have a MSI RX3870 OC (my first ati) and this program blew me away. Thank you for your amazing work.

first, sorry for my english, i speak spanish.

ive installed the last BETA of ATT and the 8.3 catalyst, and i think there is a bug in it... but im probably doing something wrong.

wen i try to get in a game server with X-FIRE i get a black screen and back to desktop, it happen with the only two on line games i have, Battlefield 2 and Call Of Duty 4, with COD4 sometimes i can see the "conecting to the server" screen, but then it freezes and back to desktop... if i close ATT it work well.

sorry for my english again, i hope is clear enough to be understand.

and thanks for this great piece of software.

Ray, I just wanted to add a little more input. Tried FPS monitoring with FRAPS, with ATT on (no OSD) in UT3, which where my stuttering is most prevalent, and not a single burp. No stuttering and silky smooth. Not trying to compare here, but I thought maybe this could help you. Also, FPS drop as well when FRAPS used. Thank you.

I never had any problems like this in any games! Nothing to do with it. And I think this is not OSD problem.

Did you try to click "Add" button ? :)

    2 Johnjk -
Frame rate drop. How much? From 100 to 99? Undervolting works. I have tested already.

Don't tell me about it :). Tell this to X-Fire developers, the bug in their code. I have COD4 and no prorblems when connecting to servers.

I don't understand. Do you have stuttering problems with ATT or not?

Ray, Thanks for the response. Read carefully what I wrote. Bottomline, stuttering when ATT OSD is checked. No stuttering with FRAPS, with ATT still on, but OSD is not checked in ATT. And I agree, I never had this problem either, until the 3850 AGP.

Ok. Let me explain what can be a problem. ATT has SharedMemory and ATT updates his memory each 1 or 2 seconds. ATT collect current speed, temperatures and other things like GPU Activity. And of course this required some additional CPU usage which in some situation can do such stuttering . Try to disable SharedMemory and check again.
At this moment GPU activity and current speeds retrieved from Catalyst not directly from hardware. And these procedures always takes more time that read from hardware. I will try to convert all that procedures to direct hardware procedure rather that Catalyst API procedures.
