    Just got it and am loving it.
    I'm amazed at how well optimized the engine is, i really wasn't expecting it to run with all options on full and with some AA aswell.

    yep i agree COD4 is very optimized it ran nicely even on my buddys pc which is pretty low<>midrange (x2 4400 + 2gb ram + 7800gtx 256mb) @ 1280x800 with most options on High, kudos to the developers.

    but still ... most wanted was the best looking NFS game out there. Carbon was crap. the latest NFS was like a big handicap in terms of options as it was hard to loose all the flexibility of open world NFS.

    Gromuhl'Djun, don't you think that you loss a lot of definition playing at that res? sure de fov is fantastic but can you see all the detail in the textures?

    just wondering as the pics are too small to see by myself

    It was some kind of experiment. Two 17"CRT monitors displaying the game. It wasn't really playable because of the thick white line of the monitorsides in the middle :D
    The performance was abysmal too though. My 7800GS just doesn't have enough juice to render the game at anything higher than 1280x800 and get more than 20fps.....

    I guess something like that. Default is 70 or 75 I believe, so doubling that would make 140 or 150 yeah.
