in case you are using max5, there is no reason (beside the speed increase ;-)) to use maxtreme 4.0.0.25. the driver is in a VERY early state and does not use any of the new max5 features (i.e. scaling and moving icons on the selecting set). i suggest to use the built in opengl driver, as long as we don't have a crack or SQ4 comes out.
thank you awx, i'm using both max4 and max5, i want maxtreme for max4, i hav the cracked version of maxtreme 4.0.0.21 for max4, but know i'm looking for 4.0.0.25 cracked. max5 opengl driver is very fast, but i think that maxtreme v21 in max4 is now more fast, and i can see particles, background and more quality tnah max5!!
just a word to let you know max5 doesn't work with maxtreme drivers (any version) have tried on several systems with quadro boards and one with geforce with cracked 4.21 max5 was terribly unstable until I noticed that was maxtreme drivers causing the trouble... I still can't believe there's no comment from discreet regarding the subject.
4 theo crap. maxtreme version 4.0.0.21, 22 , 25 and max5 work fine together. ver. 25 is the only one that supports realtime textures in viewport with max5. every other version works fine with max4 and max5! trust me. i'm a professional. but: i still don't suggest to use any of the maxtreme drivers with max5. it doesn't support essential features of max5. theo: check your system. i don't think it's maxtreme's fault. greets from germany.
Thank you Awx, the problem is that in work I use a SGI230 Workstation witha a original Quadro2 and 3DS MAX4 with Maxtreme 4.0.0.25 works fine, in home I have a Geforce4 MX 440 and i have the Maxtreme 4.0.0.21 cracked and it works, I need the maxtreme4.0.0.25 cracked because works better than 4.0.0.21. In max 5 i don't want to use maxtreme because, how you said, don't support the new features how radiosity, etc. Actually i'm working with max4 and max5, I'm a teacher and in the university we also explain version 4. greets from Barcelona (SPAIN) and sorry because my english is very bad !!!
You must extract the file maxtreme4.drv from the installation package, then aply a .rts file (Rivatuner Script) to this file. haha this is taken from my old post, and it still contains my old error ;-) the name of the last certified section is "Certified1" and that is wrong!! the correct name is "Certified2"
i have tried to crack maxtreme 25 3ds don't remind me that i haven't a quadro board but the views (top, left, etc..) don't refresh and i can't work any solution?
