Forceware 171.12 Vista & Forceware 171.17 XP

I've tested these thoroughly with Unreal Tournament 3, and I'm averaging about 66fps which is excellent and slightly better than 171.17. I have a chart comparing this to 171.17, 169.61 and older drivers on my Website (no registration required):

Forceware 171.17 beta WHQL: 66.62fps average over 9 runs of UT3 Benchmark tool.

 

So... which drivers do u recommend for ut3 from the latest hail of drivers? i use xp32.

I also play gow, crysis and cod4, but i dont care much about crysis.

 

Tested these In Vista x64, CS:S IQ looks horrible compared to the Quadro Drivers

I´ve installed 171.17 and it runs smooth indeed, but... now that i dont have 171,16 anymore... how do i change fanspeed in rivaturner? i mean, which tab, is it fan speed? value 100?

If you could a screenshot i would really appreciate it.

Any word on when the Vista 32 bit WHQL drivers will be available?

 

Anyone know if the vista64 driver is working good on the evga 8800gts 512 in sli cards? Also is system memory still being eaten up causing game crashes?

has anyone noticed in C0D4 a big slow down with these drivers?

im running 4x aa and 16 ano - just major slow downs i went from 16x drivers . did a driver sweep of course .

 

Seems like a mixed bag on these 64bit drivers.

 

looks like AA doesnt work with the vista 64 ones when using profiles. I haven tried global yet.

 

I have the same problem with the fan speed turning at 100%.
How can I adjust that, having Rivatuner 2.06 .
(When using ntune, my forceware 169.38 hangs sometimes)

Using 3dmark 03-06 and the GPU.Bat in Crysis looking for the highest stable settings for my vid-card.

169.21
06 & Crysis, 815/1935/1055 3 runs stable
03, 775/1920/1015
Run @ 765/1910/1005

171.17
06 & Crysis, 820/1935/1055
03, 805/1920/1055
Run @ 795/1910/1045

Picked up about a frame and half, min. frames Crysis 12X10 all settings high. nothing turned on.

 

does any one know if rivaTuner 2.06 will work with the forceware 171.17

 

Yes, Riva 2.06 works fine with the 171.17.
I've got it runnung, no probs

 

got crashed in world in conflict, turn to black screen.
run ok in crysis and cod4

 

Question about WHQL...

I was just wondering how a beta driver gets a WHQL release? Is the certification for real, or just a hacked certificate or whatever?
