Der! just realised that 3dMark turns off the settings in CCC and uses its own settings, so yeah, 7884 is my score with no AA or AF it would appear, I think my CPU hurts it considerably. CPU bottleneck, wanna stick with 65W, so might have to get a 4800 to pump me up to 2.5 stock, and perhaps 2.7+ with an OC, or given I have a Hyper TX 212, I could get a 6000, but I ain't paying those prices just yet.
Have u ever experience problem with PCIE graphic cards before using the same mobo? Didn't u had problems with your 1950 pro before on the same board? Sry if I'm mistaken, I thought that it was the same case here.
Nope never did. It was my 1950 which was defected like all 1950 pros lockups/artifacts. My 3870 plays all my games fine though.
Are you suggesting that all the X1950 Pro's have lockups/artifacts? I haven't had a problem with mine so far.
Ur CPU is holding you back. I got 11712 points on 3DMark06 with q6600 @ stock and one 3870 @ stock. I have 2 x 3870 @ 850/2300 now with zalman vf1000 on both, and I had OC my cpu up to 3.6Ghz and with that 2 cards on CF i got 21342 points in 3DMark06
