    This problem is stay.

    Example, PerfectDisk (disc defragmenter) is running, ATT is crashed (icons hide on the tray). I click ATT icon, ATT is started, few seconds and crashed again. And again. Next ATT start is OK, ATT is stay.

    Put .exe file from PerfectDisk into autooverclocking exception list of ATT.

    This is for all :) If you have any kind of incompatible issues between ATT and any other software try to put .exe file from that software into exception list

    Thx, I see... but "enable auto 2D/3D overlocking" disabled on my system.
    I add perfect disc exe(s) to "exclude tab".
    And remember...with older version no problem... 1067 the first.
    Thx again.

    Ray, i have one question about ATT...
    I have x800 and got a strange thing... with old catalist drivers (6.11 for example) i have a normal temperature values for GPU (50-55 in idle state and about 80 under the load) but with newer ones (7.1, 7.7 or 7.11) ATT shows for GPU in idle state about 75 degrees and over 100 under the load.
    What do you think? This is some kind of incompatibility of ATT with latest catalist drivers for my card or this is a real temperature (and latest drivers really "burns" my x800)?

    PS: Environment temperature also changes but only from ~45 to ~55 degrees.
    PPS: I send a message to the ATI/AMD support...

    The Games For Windows LIVE.
    ATM I only know of Halo 2, Gears of War, Viva Pinata and Kane & Lynch which uses the whole LIVE service and they all have compatibility issues with ATT (though they have a lot more issues thanks again to LIVE...)

    Too bad. So far I haven't seen one single good thing that Microsoft has made by the decision of bringing LIVE over to the PC :(

    Ray one more IDEA, can you make a small CROSSFIRE logo on overlay display when CF is Enabled in ATT.. ?

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    CF logo on left side, Overlay display on right side, just for info that CF is enabled ?

    but crossfire bars is the way for future challanges..

    or use this script for dettection of MGPU cards ?

    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    // File: CrossFire Detect.cpp
    // Copyright (c) 2005 ATI Technologies Inc. All rights reserved.
    //-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    #include "stdafx.h"

    int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[])
    {
    INT count = AtiMultiGPUAdapters();

    if (count < 0)
    printf("Error : ATIMGPUD.DLL not found\n");
    else
    printf("ATI Multi-GPU adapters: %d\n", count);

    getch();

    return 0;
    }

    Final look something like this :)

    I found out that if you disable ATT shared memory in general options and OSD in overlays in OnScreen Display options (plus if you did a gamer profile then in that too) then GoW runs, but I don't know about the other games (Halo 2 still crashes)

    Only disabling OSD can helps, no needs in disabling shared memory

    This is great application, the best ATI utility on the world. I use this.

    ATT freezing under "desktop" not under games. I wrote this.

    Thx!

    The problem in your system , not in ATT. A lot of people use this version including me. No problems and freezes.

    Ray, what you think about my "crossfire" overlay logo idea ? just small logo, so people can know when CF is ON..

    Tnx
