Just wondering if any one has tried Game Jackal Pro, Game disc emulator, so you dont need the play disc in your PC when you play your games. I am using the trial version. I just found out about it, never heard of it before. Any one with any info on it? So far it works great with Crysis, Prey, and Moto GP2, These are the only games I have installed at the moment. Its great not to have the play disc in the PC.
I had that progrm once... And had tons of problems with it. Yes it creates a "profile" with protected disc data, but many time for some reasons this data gets damadged, and then I had to delete profile, reinsert game disc and run all process once again. The worst thing came when I couldn't run programs even with original discs, particulary FarCry and NFSMW. I was tired to submit issue tickets on their support site, so I uninstalled that Jackal, cryed over spent money and got NoCD patches instead.
Google "<insert game name here> no cd dvd" Gamecopyworld and gameburnworld are sites i'd trust. No external program needed 90% of the time.
