I have M2N32 SLI Deluxe WS Edition motherboard Videocard: 2 8800 GTX Soundcard: X-Fi Fatality RAM: 1024x4 Corsair Dominator HD: 750gigabyte Seagate Serial ATA OS: Windows XP SP2 Pro 64 bit edition I installed the 1503 and it stop recognizing my entire 4096MB RAM instead it was reading only 3056MB. I have to revert back to the 1201 bios just fix it. Anyways anyone here running the 1503 with no issues. I did that upgrade just in case I want to upgrade mine to a native quadcore.
and for what reason you want run 1503 or is it posibly due added phenom support to bios. wich your planning on upgrading to ?
for future phantom support. Well I guess I might as well hold the bios update since it won't read my 4096 ram. It kinda suck the new bios does not read my entire 4096
I manually download it. I had to switch back to the 1201 bios because it reads my 4 gigs of ram from my OS with no problem. I know it's not a bad ram because I did a memtest on it. Also I did have defective ram a month ago one of the rams won't let me post. and it was RMA back to vendor and they send me a replacement. When I got the replacement I redid the memtest and no error was found. I tried another earlier bios from Asus as well and the 4096mb still show. It seems to me the quadcore support for the current M2N32 SLI still to work on some kinks. http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socketAM2/M2N32-SLI Deluxe/M2N32SLI1503.zip here the link make sure you save your old bios.
what if read for example on my mobo. phenom x4 9500 would boot @ 1200 mhz each core instead off 2,2 ghz. altough this is fixeable with oc tools. so can expect another new bios soon that fixes all bugs ;>
