hmm.. I've gotten 2 Crash to Desktops, and 2 BSOD with the nv4.disp error when playing Crysis.

I've redownloaded the drivers and cleaned to reinstall them. I don't think it will help much so I hope they release another set this week. Ohh and this usually happens during the heat of battle with some NK in SP. However, I did have one of the two happen in MP.

Just wait for the 169.12 WHQL and everything will be ok.

This is so strange , I get much better performance with Vista 32bit 2GB RAM SLi then I do with Vista64bit with 4GB ram and Sli.....

I dont understand , Vista 32bit feels sluggish but I get more FPS !!!
There's something seriously not right with the Crysis Profile for 64bit...
I've tried nHancer , things do improve but then it's still not upto Vista 32bit's performance...
Where as I should be getting around 5 more FPS in Vista 64bit !

XP64bit , even worse , I can not get Sli to work in it no matter what I do !!
So I get horrible performance on even High !!

Now all I can do is , wait till these guys fix all this so I can start bloody playing !!!!

Actually, your vision does blurr. Try turning your head very quickly. When you do it slowly your eyes have time to affix on a distant object and reducing the blurring.

Thought I should post up instead of lurking.

    Vista 64
    Using these drivers GF8800GTX
    Crysis flies baby.

    No lock ups
No glitches, except for me getting killed a lot. LOL.

I am having to have many of the in game settings on medium though due to the crazy native res of my monitor (2560x1600). It still looks awesome though.

Hey i've got an Apple Cinema HD 30" with the same native resolution. Just go down to 1600x1200 and set everything to VERY HIGH (except for Post Processing) and you should be able to get everything looking beautiful again :)

If i rename crysis.exe to "hellgate_sp_dx10_x64.exe" (at your bin 64 crysis folder ) i have a lot more FPS and i can put 16 antiliasing and very high settings with acceptable FPS 20-25 in vista 64 bit and 169.09 drivers

I got some slow down in COD4 and WiC on Vista 32bit compare to 163.75. Haven't tested with Crisis yet.

    A flaw in 169.09?

Has anybody seen this or can they confirm it? Seems alot is missing for DX10 users from this post on the official nvidia forum.
    http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=51132&st=20

See post #24 which relates to the new 169.09 driver

I'm fixing to reinstall and I was wondering which driver I should use for best image quality in need for speed pro street and crysis. I will check back once I have reinstalled the OS Vista x64.

169.04, 169.09 or 163.75? I'm looking for best image quality at a normal gaming resolution of 1680x1050.

Those drivers are fine to me, if I stick to Crysis...
Btw I did some benchmark on Crysis SLI performances. Here you go:
    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=244531

I get a HUGE lag (with hard drive working as hell and sounds stuttering) every 10mn in Hellgate London with SLI. Even got 2 BSODs. But everything is fine without SLI. Same in other games like Bioshock or CoD4, but less often, like every 30mn. Very anoying...
Gear of War is quite crappy too, stuttering as hell with SLI or not. It's playable but it gets me crazy to run a game at 60+ fps and get a god damn lag every 5s.
Still a lot to do for the 8800GT :/
