Look sweet - glad I just ordered my 64bit Vista :D

Wasn't there something about Crysis taking advantage of a 64bit OS ?

    EDIT :

    Found it :

GS: When we talked last year it was said that Crysis will ship with 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Is 64-bit still in the box? Does it offer any kind of performance improvements as predicted?

CY: Yes, 64-bit in general runs better than 32-bit. In fact I would recommend gamers run 64-bit only under very high configurations. We ship both 32- and 64-bit out of box.

Actually a noticeable difference between DX9 and DX10, framerates would have been nice though.

so this is what cevat was talking about when he said (and to my understanding) that on same settings, DX10 will perform better than DX9? so DX10 will look and perform better?

    BTW

was "texture streming" mentioned? and does this really mean lower vRAM usage? as im kinda worried Crysis will be like WiC where the 320mbs are crippled?

    GOOD
the mem usage should be lower than the beta ("should be")

if it is 320 mb is enough for my res 1280*1024

i hope 320mb will suffice for 1440x900 too

well its playable at high (except post processing on medium) so i hope the final game would give an fps boost esp on DX10

Which is easily recreated in DX9 with a slight change in LOD and draw distance. Nothing impressive there...

If you have seen the comparisons, You would see that they are not the same with the dx9 very high hack. DX10 Forest More Dense, Motion Blur more pronounced, Textures More Shiny lol...

Ther is still the differences with dx10
