I don't suppose there's any chance the aspect ratio scaling is working again? I'm sick of seeing my old games stretched on my widescreen monitor.

I cannot seem to find VISTA 32bit 163.71 WHQL on the Nvidia official site.
it only show 163.69 as whql! 163.71 still shows as a beta driver :peeleft:

guru3d lists an international 163.71 WHQL for vista 32,
where did they get it from ?? and where is an english version ??

now that game hickups every 10 seconds or when i choose another squad, that sux really big time, they have to patch it really fast. allready wrote it down on relic forums..

Ugh. Every driver after 163.44 has given me lower performance and flashing shadows in source games. Nvidia fixes one thing and breaks another.:cussing:

sofar ive tested MOHA, and it has a nice boost over the non WHQL 163.71' i now average 80-90 fps @ 1600x1200 0AA 16xAF max settings.

however, the game still stutters a bit now and then :(

It's hilarious. People used to think that nVIDIA's drivers weren't all that great. Now that they're churning out driver after driver, people complain about the amount. Am I the only one that's noticed this?

On the other hand, after installing these drivers I've gained a noticeable performance increase in Opposing Fronts. Seems to be in the region of 2-4 FPS. I'd say they're keepers until some new ones come along.

    OK - quick question.
Not a major problem, but after installing these drivers (163.71) the AA control within the "Performance & Quality Settings" (from the taskbar) is gone - Image Settings & AF is there, but no AA . . .?

I'll try it, but for me it isn't that important cause I use the old CP. ;)

I hope they fix scaling for XP soon. It has been a minor thorn in my side for a while now. I think Vista has it fixed but I'm waiting for SP1 before I upgrade. Good thing Nvidia has been concentrating on driver development for the last several months.

Maybe you have no idea of the stupidity of your response...sorry if I come across hostile...

But you have NO idea what your talking about. I have been using Vista since launch and the only minor problem i cam across was my USB headset which was fixed in a hotfix. MANY people love their Vista experiences. Why do you think people post here with Vista problems? You think everybody has them?? Get real that is what these and other forums that deal with this department are for....problems and asking for advice.

Seriously people with the Vista problems are only a few compared to the whole. For me... Vista runs way smoother than XP did anyday...even when I still had my AGP system and 7800GS...vista ran smooth. My games look better...sound better...and some even play better.

    Now about the drivers...

Nvidia drivers are better each and every release. These drivers perform the same as the BETA's for me...which was excellent so im keepin these on the Vista side...

As for XP...gonna try em in my old rig...see whats up...
