    Im in Xp 32bit.

Strange to see a 7900GTX run it smooth all maxed, maybe it runs always slow and u think its smooth . This game is supposed to be really fast paced, can u show a little video to see the pace in yours?

Then again, maybe its a driver problem for the 8800 cards.

ok seen as theirs talk that im lieing and their is ment to be no way this game run stable or good at the settings i stated this will show that the game is stable for me via fraps.......as u can see that fraps have measured my frame rate every sec for the time it took to do this race and u can see that the lowest frame is 26 and apart from that the rest are stable as can be

You have a 320mb 8800gts, the 7900gtx has 512. The fps on the 7900 are about 20-60 lower than your card. But as res and aa get higher the gap closes.

AF is set to application controlled, shouldn't matter though...

I dloaded the same drivers as you but no luck...

the framerate is between 20 to 30...which is just to low...

:heh:LOL u got to be kidding me, a 3ghz C2D holds him back, yea right, such a crap game can't be that demanding on a cpu. Maybe on my P4.

Gpu well dunno, but form what i've seen it doesn't look visually demanding at all, but still it might hold you back, do you have that pic on sm3.0 or 2.0?? cuz yes it looks like colin 4 or something

I average 44(minimum in 30's) at 1440x900 4xaa 16xaf(drivers) everything on max vsync on. I run it with 2xaa though since there is not a noticeable difference. Average is 51. You cant really tell the difference this one when it's at 30 or 60, so if you can average 40 with vsync you're good.

So looks like it was designed with 30fps in mind(consoles). To be blunt though it doesn't look like this should be running at anything less then 60 constant with most of our systems, as it looks ok at best.

Also 666 you might be better off with Sm2 if you arent using it right now, since your card performs better in Sm2 then 3. I didn't really notice much difference between the two, maybe less mud and deformation, but I have no idea. I run sm3 because my card is better with it then 2.

Runs constantly in the 60's and 70's for me at 1280 * 1024 4xAA 16xAF,drops into 50's sometimes when going through pools of water.

Problem is tho sometimes it looks like there is stuttering even tho the framerate does'nt drop.

I never thought this game had any complex graphics but it is also another demanding game on PC :heh: May be I will wait for NFS: Pro Street and hope it is nice

BTW, I would like to think, CM DiRT is overall better racing game but it has hefty PC requirements :frown: and bad online mode.
