    EDIT:
yeah can ppl with 8800 GTS/GTX/Ultra SLI only posts???

and when u make a claim that it works as well as XP, post screenshot of 3dmark06, 05 on XP, and Vista

yeah i have the latest driver, and that 4 hotfixes on nzone installed, and the latest update ...
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/windows_vista_hotfixes.html

but for some reason I just dont see any evidence that SLI is enabled on Vista .... i mean i just dont see it work well on Vista

so does SLI work on Vista or not?? i mean is it as efficient as it works on XP ?? or close w/e ....

17k 3dmark06 on XP vs 14k on Vista is unacceptable ..

163.67 and all the hotfixes installed and no, SLI is not working for me.

Disabled SLI in CP then played some games. Enabled it only to get the same FPS.

    Anyone here has a solution?

when you have sli enabled, do you have the load bard down the side or are they missing? also when i was using nhancer that was stopping sli from working in vista, try turning it off and restarting.

yes, SLI can't give much extra in Vista...saw that when browsing 3DM06 scores (some users put info, "SLI" etc)...10-15% gain maybe.

Hoping 8800 SLI will work SOOOOOON ! both been out some 9 months now !

Not that I would add a second GTS, I'd more likely wait for new GPU (or get GTX/Ultra) ...but my 1680x1050 gaming is 100% with GTS now

yup thats what i said in my 1st post .. i can see it enabled .. but it jsut dont work well

no way can Vista SLI compete with XP SLI....

ill prolly play Crysis, Hellgate London on XP ,

and prolly move to Vista just for some extra eye candy, but mostly on XP for performance

Yes, I can turn the load bar on. When playing MOHA the bar is almost at the full height of the screen. I tried uninstalling nHancer and even uninstalled the drivers, ran driversweeper and reinstalled them. The results are the same, unfortunately.

EDIT: Turns out that this problem is related only to MOHA. Playing Neverwinter nights 2 my FPS almost double(when outdoors).

Note that I have a 7950 GX2 and most of the people that are complaining have 8800s in SLI. That's where most of the problems are.

My 3DMark06 benches are virtually identical for Vista x64 and XP (which I still have in double boot). FPS is almost every game is about the same, including the recent WIC demo (which is a great war game, if you like that kind of thing), all at 1600x1200 with most settings on medium to high (Remember I only have a GX2). I also can't honestly see any difference in resource hogs like FSX either. Maybe I'm just lucky.

yeah well GX2 isnt exactly SLI .. sure it uses SLI , u got 2 cards glued in 1 , but its still different from 2 PCI-E GFX SLI ...

but i dont think theres any problem for ppl with <8800 series .. aka 7800/6800 SLI

and yes i still yet to seen person 8800 SLI gets SLI to work on Vista as well as XP

so yeah maybe its a 8800 only thing

SLI is working for me, for most of the games under VISTA 64bit. There are still a few niggles here and there and some games like Bioshock crash with it enabled. However, I am sure nvidia will sort this out soon.
I am an owner of 2 x 8800GTXs and did go through hell for the last 9 months. But now things are looking way better and much smoother than they were; by no means perfect of course.

Sli works great in vista 64. running all the latest games I have had almost double the frames rates of a single a card.

Bioshock run very well fully cranked no crashes.
running the latest beta nvidia drivers atm I cannot complain at all been very happy with both the performance of my machine as well as the performance of vista.

Hm i get 13110 3dmarks in 3dmark06 in vista x64 and SLI is working, the loadbars are there.
It's not performing as it should then...
    Specs @ sig Quad @ 2,7

    Drivers are 163.67

    yeah except in XP 32, with Q6600 @ 3.51GHz , 4GB DDR2 900 5-4-4-12, 8800GTS 650/1950

    i get ~17400
    http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o239/powerdu112/Shot0064-1.jpg

sure CPU is like 600MHz more , but i have GTS, GTS @ 650/1900 is still about 1/2% slwoer than stock GTX

which is why when ppl sya they have SLI working in Vista as well as XP. i dont believe it.

i can get sli to work, but im just saying it doesnt work well ...
