Official I'm Going To Buy A 9 Series Club

Yeah, well :dave: I couldn't get the performance out of my old 7600gt I wanted to play DOOM 3, and FEAR was even worse.... so I volt modded the Hell out of that 7600 and still came up short. So I decided to upgrade to something better. It also helps that I bought it around tax return time when I could actually afford to drop a pretty penny on a new card.

Depends on how long my GTS can run the games I want @1650x. Expectation is that it will last pretty long, especially since Bioshock runs perfect.

ill' probably skip this 9 series and save for SLI or Quad cards when the next gen comes LOL

even though I just recently bought a 8800gts 320 I'm totally gonna update to a new 9 series card for u3 and crysis.
Only reason I got this card was to be able to play Lost Planet and Bioshock, as well as stranglehold and MoH.. once I'm through with those, it should be time for a nice upgrade

of course, we'll have to see what kinda pricing we're talking about.. I may just upgrade my CPU first. Who knows :nerd:

 

I really hope they get the cards out when Crysis comes, saving my money until then

 

A bonus when Crysis comes out: Kick ass out of all 8600 cards in DX10 mode and save us some strength telling people not to get them for DX10 gaming.
