DNA-Force 3.7.16316x32 Released

DNA beta 163.14 solved all my problems in bf2142 and bf2 (yellow textures, slowdowns etc.) and also low FPS problem in FSX. I tried DNA 163.16 but much slower in bf2142 so I'm back to beta .14 and i have no intention to change it for long time probably. It's perfect for games I play.

 

No changes in IQ relative to 94.24. (some game areas tend to be more crisp but it could be just my imagination.)

The screenshots in the left column in each pic are rendered using the 94.24. The right ones are the ones the DNA churned out.

(I installed the DNA drivers with the "Quality" box checked.)

I do not know why the max FPS suffered but the minimum marks improved a LOT so I am sticking with these for the meantime. 163.44 does not work for me.

I have yet to test the NGO and the 162.50s though.

(Tests were made using Nexuiz's ingame timedemo. I used FRAPS with a T:V demo. Sorry I have no current games. Dirt poor lol!)

With the good feedback by pilistorac, i wanted to try the DNA Beta 163.14's before trying the 163.16's but are no longer available on DNA's site :cry:

 

I cant install these it says :-

Error

You have a previous DNA driver installed.

Setup Aborted!

But i uninstalled previous drivers, ran driver sweep in safe mode + Normal mode but still i get this error!

Anyone got any ideas?

It deletes itself when i uninstall. I tried to reinstall the version of DNA i had, installed but i still get that same error.

Bugging the hell out of me, i like DNA drivers but i aint formating just to get them working again!

try to use a program like regcleaner to deleted missing files etc..

I have the shell installer set so that if it detects an older version of the file, it will not allow for an install. Double check the program files directory for a DNA file. If it isn't there (as you say) open regedit and go to HKLM\Software and see if there is a DNA key there. If so, delete it. Try to install. I'll change this in future releases, as I added it more to ensure the driver was properly uninstalled from system32. The program files folder won't effect stability.

Yeah same with me. Cured my flashing textures problem in BF2. I have my drivers set to "Quality".

 

Why Quality? When is a system eligible for the High Quality option? Will a High Quality setting bog my system down?

It's my first time using this driver. I tried both Quality and Performance settings. No difference in IQ. Except for one game. With Performance settings, Rakion looks like muddy sh#t lol! (I have not launched the game in Quality.)

 

I read here that the High Quality option was for SLI boards. Anyway I've tried both Quality and High Quality settings and, for my system at least, I got better performance using the quality setting.

do they have the classic cp? i use dna 94.24 cuz they do

 

I think all nVidia drivers (except for like 2 releases) has the classic CP--you just need the regfile to activate it:
