    Hey guys,
this is for my sit 'n go torrent/internet box.

my main focus is on lowest power usage as the box intention is to sit, watch clips/surf/office/download and go.

possible light gaming but I'm talking maybe sims2/Diablo LOD and other oldies.
    I have a main pc with a 8800gts/4600+ etc

    I ordered 2 cpu's from ZZF

    1: a 90nm 1.2/1.25Vcore 2Ghz 3800+

    2: a 65nm 1.25/1.35Vcore 2.1Ghz 4000+

    And I already have a 4600+ 90nm 1.3/1.35 2.4Ghz 4600+. This one does Vcore 0.8-1.25 stable at 1Ghz-2.4Ghz).

The rest of the 24/7 pc will be an Asus 690G with 1GB DDR2-800 (1 stick) and a 250Gb WD small formfactor with an optical drive and a fan.

    My Gaming pc will be 8800gts 320mb, Asus M2R32-MVP, 2sticks of OCZ DDR2 1066Mhz several HDD's & fans (cpu->cnps9500 nt).

I'm aiming for quietest and lowest wattage 24/7 as a kWh is over US$0.30 locally for the main pc.

Which processor would you guys choose with lowest power in mind?
Which would be the better overclocker of the two new cpu's in case I want to run my ram full blast at 1066mhz?

Tnx for the response, Thing was due to my location I had to order about a month ago and I also cannot order from the egg, basically I got both of them in my hand today after a month.

I'm thinking that it would likely be best to undervolt the 65nm as it would probably go lower then 1.25 I hope and probably use less then the 90nm 3800+ right?

Next to that I am debating which should be the better overclockable cpu, the 65W 3800+ or the 89W 4600+ ... tips/suggestions?

the 65 nm should need less voltage to run at stock speeds. my 65nm X2 3600+ is at 1.25 i think. Not totally sure, but it's a .05 step down from stock voltage at 2.4 Ghz. Either way, die shrinks usually mean less power for the same speed, so I'd say the 65nm will need less power

if the 3800 is 65w it should be an f3 stepping or cz,these are clocking like mad....you may want to oc it before you choose wich to keep

Well basically I decided to keep both the 3800+ 65W and the 4000+ brisbane.

the Brisbane I'm done with and currently does 2Ghz @ 0.975V (0.992V through probe/cpuz/everest) and at 1Ghz 0.816Vcore corrected and dual primes stable. I use Crystalcpuid for doing the cool'n Quiet manually.

The 3800+ is in my main pc currently at a rough 2.5Ghz 250x10 and Ram at 500Mhz / 2.25Vdimm Vcore is 1.25 - 1.4 though all appz vary it so I'm not sure yet.
